    • Speedway riders generally go pretty well straight away but then have to adapt their style to consistently be at the front against good riders. Good riders use their brake both into and out of corners and the tyres make it very different to riding Speedway. Ashton will need to do very well indeed to be in the top 6 in this competition. There are some very good riders including Sammy Halbert a rider who is still competitive at the top level in the USA but doesn't get it all his own way in the FIM Championship. Ashton will be doing very well to be the 3rd best British rider behind Tim Neave and Jack Bell.
    • Can you not use the casting feature on BSN rather than screen mirroring? I've always cast from my phone to a chromecast dongle in one of the TV's a HDMI ports. By doing this, the stream goes straight to the TV, so you can use your phone to come on here or do anything else on it without affecting the broadcast on the TV screen. Looking at the tutorial on BSN, you should be able to cast direct to a smart TV even if you dont use a dongle. The list of available devices should show when you tap the 'cast' icon. For some reason though, only my chromecast shows when I tap the icon on BSN. On YouTube, I have the choice of my TV, my EE box or my chromecast when I tap to cast. For those not familiar, Casting & screen mirroring are 2 completely different processes. Screen mirroring uses the phones battery & CPU and replicates the phones screen on the TV. Casting diverts the stream directly to the TV, meaning that the phone is not involved in the process other than being a remote control.
    • There were massive queues to get in, slightly delaying the start.  I’d say 2,500-3000 fans. It was rammed
    • Looks excellent. Great size and shape. Decent amount of banking on the bends. Looks a very fast track  will only get better as it settles in and the track staff have more time to work with it. Plenty of track equipment due to arrive in the very near future so all looking very positive.  Some good racing tonight, very impressed by both foxes reserves. Gutted for Thomson in heat 14,  spark plug problem with half a lap to go , cost him an easy win, the foxes a 5-1 snd the crowd, a last heat decider which the meeting merited.
    • Great have the British Final there next year and get it away from Belle Vue 👍
    • Pics can be deceiving, there wasn't enough dirt imo. A big pile on the infield (ready for stock cars on Saturday) though! I'm also a bit surprised they didn't lightly water it during grading breaks. The result was too dry and slick, meaning the outside groove didn't quite work, despite some valiant attempts from various riders. Even with these issues though, the track was still pretty good for a first attempt, very smooth, and I think it has great potential as a speedway track, a good size, shape and camber.
