Your relying to much on statistics as usual.Name all the riders that are available that are any good at Armadale.Wood is not a superstar but he gives it everything and has had a season at Armadale which counts for a lot. That’s your opinion though.👍
-
Don’t think you’ll see Gusts at a Saturday track due to Poland Harrison apparently back at Scunthorpe along with Lambert
-
I take my hat off to any rider who has the bottle to race but when people say natural talent the likes of Kelly Moran, Darcy Ward, Henka Gustaffson and Mark Loram are the kind of riders that come to my mind.
-
Numbers game him and Luke have identical averages to be honest i wouldn;t mind Lambert or and Bowtell
-
Whats with your obsession with Hume being in the team? Every post you mention him. He will not improve, I dont get why people cant grasp that.
-
Frustrating 12-74 to play with Gusts, Hume/Harrison, Perry come in at 12.75
-
He'd have been a good signing with 2.5 available, not so great if they end up with 3.7 available.
-
Wise move by Cook if that's the case.
-
Obviously don’t know much about Dayle, only properly started going speedway a go a few years ago.

What will 2026 UK speedway bring?

Riders missing away meetings is not acceptable to me either -
Someone already has. It's down to Chris Louis whether or not he will accept an offer or whether he wants to close the club down.

Apologies if I missed something from you I'm sure I've seen the sign them but allow them to miss away meetings as necessary put up Mute point anyway as none of these are signing up for an any day of the week league -
If your so concerned about the possible loss of a community facility then put your hand in your pocket and give Chris £xxx amount of thousands for the club or at least offer to go into partnership with him. At the end of the day if Chris has had enough of running the club no matter if its for financial reasons or personal I think its his decision and his alone.
-
Does "moving it on" include shutting it down? It's not just a business it's a community facility. If he just walks away surely he's done his money and will effectively have nothing to sell.

They can’t afford to stomach it, maintaining last years level isn’t going to be enough, they have lost the tv money, so either a new deal comes along to replace that money or they need to increase the attendance by that amount just to stay the same -
Last weeks arrived today!!!

Therefore, whatever those nights are then they become the ‘mandated race nights’ for which riders must be available. If that is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday then so be it. -
Why are you posting rational scenarios? Surely this isn’t the place for that!
-
I remember when riders would travel to an away track when their own team wasnt riding just to compete in the Golden Helmet and second half races. One meeting at Hyde Road Gordon Kennett travelled all the way up to Manchester for a Golden Helmet match race and a couple of second half meetings, could you imagine todays breed of riders doing that?

2026 Premiership is Go! - At least 5 teams
Littleze replied to RoundTheBoards's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I’d say a decent amount of fans (I say decent) will turn up, as they’ve been turning up for similar garbage as it is… thus helping this garbage being served again and again. -

Never get any meat on the bones to debates on here, so I’ll have a go and people can add their ideas (or not). Norick Will MPT Jake Worrall Jack Smith Billy Budd V Troy Batchelor Freddy Hodder Jake Allen Jody Scott Paco Sam Woods Ben Morley It’s just not doing it for me and at £20 a pop I can’t see us bothering to attend very often -

It’s not compulsory to see the same teams over and over again. You could just do the same as the last twenty odd years and watch visiting teams twice, plus cup, plus play offs. Whilst missing four league meetings at the NSS isn’t ideal for the club, they will just have to stomach it. Signing Dan & Brady is seen on here as simultaneously throwing money down a pit and displays greed on the part of the promotion. BSF - have your cake and eat it, on any given topic. -
Yes but he was probably carrying an injury, I believe he had an injury mid way through the season and probably did not rest much.

And nowhere have I said riders ride in home meetings only, I have a given a reasonable proposal using Dan bewley and belle vue as an example where he would with cooperation from other clubs be available for all belle vue’s matches, as I said it can be done with cooperation by all sides, will it ? No because of selfish attitudes on all sides and a gap bigger than the channel between the promoters from both leagues -

The Third Man replied to Lionsman66's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
If there is one league there can't be mandated race nights, each team has to ride on the night best for them, or more tracks will close
