  2. You will need to take your lawnmower to cut that long grass.
  3. They will soon iron him out if anyone can
  4. What will 2026 UK speedway bring? Final nail in the coffin
  5. I’m with you on that.If it 2 Leagues they have to have more fixtures 2/home away, drop the BSN Trophy.IMO
  6. Sunday’s match Gorzow v Bydgoszcz ( 43-47) promotion/ relegation play-off 2nd leg start time 6.30pm UK time Gorzow 9 Lebedevs 10 Krok 11 Fajfer 12 Vaculik 13 Thomsen 14 Paluch 15 Jablonski 16 Bydgoszcz 1 Wozniak 2 Brennan 3 Huckenbeck 4 Buczkowski 5 Loktayev 6 Pawelczak 7 Andrzejewski 8
  7. If it’s still 2 leagues and I think it will be then who are the promoters pandering to?, if the majority of fans want 1 league and I am one of them then clearly they are pandering to themselves and the riders, I understand it’s not straight forward as just merging the 2 with riders, money and dates but quite frankly I was sick of seeing the same teams last season, we can’t keep doing the same thing and expect things to improve, but I’m told there is radical change planned but nobody will say what it is and the riders don’t know either
  8. Just imagine the bad weather headline. "Bulls hit by rain." I'll get me coat...
  9. Jesus... how long is that going to take.. I've seen enough of those 3 blue tractors already!
  10. Today
  11. It wasn't actually that busy, the Stary Rynek in Torun is quite small - compared to Krakow Wroclaw & Poznan at least. If there were 1.5k there I'd be surprised.

  13. Reading between the lines it looks like Poole have tapped him up for next season.
  14. But what can we do as fans/supporters? I have said for a number of years, speedway is not 'squaring the circle' (cost wise), no pun intended. While you have riders expecting extreme fees/wages for their services, with a mediocre fan base, it's not financially sustainable/viable. The only chance for speedway to survive, is somehow, reduce costs for the riders and the fans. Otherwise speedway will need to 'shut up shop' in it's current format.
  15. Any more news on Wimbledon? Hadnt they found a site where a go kart track was situated who were happy to have speedway there aswell.
  16. Wow, this would be fabulous. I hope it will be a great success.
  17. Reading Bowes article in SS ,I’m afraid he needs a reality check for a mediocre speedway rider. Most of his burn out and stress are his own making. He is obviously not prepared or has the set-up for his ambitions. There are not many hand outs in speedway.
  18. It was the same for the SWC 2023. Both semis and the race-off had a handful of passes between them. Possibly preservation of the track for the final? Fortunately the final was superb.
  19. If reports are correct it’s unlikely that you will see Nigel and Lawrence working together again as the closure of Birmingham has not gone that well with one person not being honest with their plans for their own personal benefit
  20. I never said we should just use averages, but they provide a very good indicator. Are you really saying that Brady Kurtz finishing within a point of the world title this year wasn't a "surprise packet"? Out of curiosity, who would you pick as a WC and why? Anyway, every single rider in the competition has been awarded a future place on previous performance, how else could they do it?
  21. It’s been about engine tuners for years. There are riders that have amazing talent on a bike. Without the super power beneath them it’s extremely hard (impossible) to challenge. F1 has always been that way - I don’t watch it but could very often predict the winner.
  22. I think with the young Danes its a case of loyalty to their home League and POL. The better ones are supported in DK and the team make ups mean they need to have at least 1 or 2 in their teams. Factor in riding POL o Sundays 9normally loaned out to lower Lge teams by their Prem Extra Leage Teams and up to 2025 also the Tuesday POL U24 Extra League matches meant that UK Champ sides who ride on a Wed or Sat (i.e Poole/Worky) cannot be accommodated in their schedule. Of course if the POL U24 make up changes as rumoured in 2026 to mainly Juniors (or more young Poles), then it may throw up some interesting opportunities for UK Clubs. The question then becomes how many UK Teams have the money or want to invest in having them fly in and out of UK. Most of them would come in a a 5 point av having raced in POL or DK Leagues. Except Bailey in his first season 2026 on a 4 as will only just turn 16 end March 2026. An intriguing question that also raises its head with the exciting Beau Bailey who is one of 3 very young riders (1 Aussie and 2 Danes) who have just been announced to fight out taking the minor junior roles at Danish Premier side Regional Varde in the last couple of days.
  23. Says the person who was later found to be contradicting his own posts.🤡
  24. a few between seaso9n transfers. Thörnblom from Piraterna to Lejonen Oliver Berntzon fron Lejonen to unknown Bastian Pedersen signed with a team that it's not Lejonen.
