Numbers wise it seems closer to the current Leicester team, though that does have a big hitter in Fricke, somebody capable of winning heats 13 & 15 and generally beating the opposing teams number 1, that's all Lynn are short of really. The legacy teams in the PL Ippo, Sheffield, BV have all managed to build with some astute signings, of the 3 newcomers only Leicester have really managed to compete thanks to the signing of Fricke. For Lynn, since Lambert left they've made some poor signings in Laguta & Musielak (tbf who knew that Musielak would do what he did) as number 1's... and don't really have one this season.

Won't be a top league sadly

Birmingham v Sheffield Mon 4th August PL2

Over the years found him to be insulting & jokes stuck in the 70’s but each to their own. -
The superheat is a sort of creeping americanisation of sport in that they simply don't like or do 'ties' - the trouble is they do provide drama and a sudden death jeopardy which the fans at the tracks seem to enjoy. I have seem one and the roar at the end at Foxhall when they secured the superheat v's Peterborough a couple of years back was huge. The problem is everyone wants their promoters and and the sport to innovate and move foward and appeal to the non diehards - there are always so many threads dedicated to what can be done to 'save' speedway and here is an innovation that certainly seems to be well received on the terraces, rather liike the playoffs and everyone seems dead against it on here. In football terms i always felt a well ground out away point was often a great reward, draws in speedway and other sports don't actually happen too often - personally i wouldnt have introduced it but i can see and understand why they have.

Yeah but do you know how much they pay in rent?

Don't worry, the top league will no longer be there way before Poole even think about moving back up. -

I hope Poole never come back to the top league so I don’t have to read ridiculous comments like this every week. -

From memory it was always the Belgians that provided the biggest laughs, it's a great idea 😅 -

But does it really matter? It's supposed to be entertaining, blimey look at the absolute rubbish they have with gladiators, wwf, F1 darts and others that seem to be popular. Stattos will always moan whatever ( not aiming that at anyone in particular by the way) it's the crowd/herd that needs to be attracted through the talking points and controversy as much as through a 'great race' -
Who's to say it hasn't

You could carry buckets of coloured water on their handlebars and whoever finishes with the most water in their buckets wins the extra point... Imagine the excitement and atmosphere created as Stuart Hall (hang on, no, not him, someone else)! is whipping up the crowd as the lads empty their buckets into a plastic tube thing.... -
Every club has different costs based on a number of issues - not least whether they own their stadium/track or not - so its a pointless to compare income/expenditure based on attendances. Poole are also running a 50/50 draw this season for the air fence fund.

even if he wanted to, but doubt he will want a uk return this season, i bet leicester will be telling him to stay away anyway -
All clubs should look at different ways to increase their profits. Maybe Poole is more expensive to run than some other clubs so it needs the extra gate money to sustain the business.

They could bring in the greasy pole. Anyone who wants to argue with the referee, has to climb up it, to get to the refs box. -
Leon Flint was announced as the guest for Oxford meeting on Friday night when we were at home to Glasgow.
