Expecting a battling and thrilling meeting on a superbly prepared water saturated track against our rivals for the title. Glasgow come as one of the favourites for winning the championship and are stacked with quality riders. Harris loves the wide open spaces of Wimborne Road and as always is a real threat. Howarth is always very quick. Hagon is a top youngster and had a year at Poole. Smith has done many laps around here and Harrison is a battler. Flint can score a few. And then I woke up. 57-33. Dust from heat 3 regardless of track prep. 35c tomorrow.

Exactly! They do it for their own entertainment. Plenty of Grass Track ,MotoX, Flat Track, Enduro riders race without any chance of earning a living out of it. Most do it for the "buzz" or adrenaline rush.

I agree 100% his choice IMO he will never quite be the rider he was .

That's good to know. Just another 95,000, and whitelinehugger will have to retire too.
-
Nope. If 100,000 people say it online, he has retire. He has no choice.

Lots of people on the socials saying he needs to call it a day, surely that is his decision to make?
-
He probably has a high pain threshold. Physically and mentally different gravy from the standard human. Bless his cotton socks

With the latest averages will Howarth be at number 1 and Hagon at number 2 tomorrow? Not sure what's happening with Chris Harris at the moment, he is still an excellent rider but maybe age is starting to creep up on him a lot faster than it did with say Scott Nicholls. Maybe at the age Chris is at fitness comes into it a lot, idk. Hopefully, it's just a blip though.

But what happens if a RS arrives at a meeting and is taken ill or gets injured while unloading the van ? -

I’m pretty sure that if Howarth hadn’t have fell in his first ride at Northampton last week and picked up a point then Morris would have been at reserve for June, Kemp, Howarth and Morris all very close on the rolling averages. Howarth on an 8.5 average so far this season (although only 2 league meetings that count towards and average) so Leicester have someone at number 6 that could be a match winner especially if anyone having an off night it’s an easy reserve replacement swap option for Dickson

Think Fricke's average is too high to replace Dan anyway, even with the enhanced 5% for a home meeting. For the next month anyway. -
Yeah, that figures

By the same token of you saying J.Holder only got 6 last time at Belle Vue, Kurtz's scores at Sheffield last season were 9+1 from 5 (with a last in his final ride) and 4 from 5 (with three blobs). -
Is it know what happened to Dan Bewleys bike to make it do what it did???
