You should know by now the pilots fans take over ALL forum topics -
From what I've seen of the coverage from Belle Vue, what is it with these extreme close ups they do of a rider on turn 3? And it's not just Belle Vue, BSN do it, TNT do it and they do it in the GP's! Arrrrrgh!

Only selective replies now is it ?

Sheffield v Oxford Monday 14th July Live on TV

Just caught up with this and considering Rowe's withdrawal was their main talking point during the first half of the meeting nobody at TNT thought (could be arsed) to show a replay of the incident from turn 1 of heat 1, I had to rewind myself to see what had happened, even Abbi when interviewing Stead didn't follow up on him saying Rowe had sustained an injury... it's absolutely bare minimum broadcasting and all for £30.99 a month! Brilliant stuff from Leon Flint though 👏 - Today

Myself and neila have met and had a chat in person aswell as pms on here plus the odd bit of winding each other up. Shame you got to hide behind your keyboard instead of introducing yourself to me.

If that was the case. I'd presume they preferred Starke & Foord was never in their plans? Can't see them planning to build a team over 1.5 below the limit by putting Foord in the top 5. Can't imagine they'd sign anyone other than a temp 2.00 number 7 if they were saving a spot for Cairns? -
Brilliant post

Massive fortnight coming up. Friday - Edinburgh (A) - Leading by 4 on aggregate Saturday - Berwick (A) - First leg Wednesday - Oxford (A) - First leg Saturday - Oxford (H) - Return leg Every possibility the Gladiators could find themselves in an enviable position by the time Workington visit at the start of August
-
Makes a big difference to the Plymouth team. A second big hitter, which they've been missing, plus a strong reserve, which they've not had since Fredriksen moved into the top 5. Bowtell should score well. Not sure they'll be able to make a play-off push, but much better chance of avoiding the wooden spoon now. Big weekend coming up with a couple of "winnable" away matches. Two wins then all of a sudden they're chasing a top 4 spot. Can they do it?
-
Have to admit, if that is the team, definitely makes them playoff contenders
-
Even if Nicholls did miss some Saturdays (Plymouth don't race every Saturday & there isn't a GP every Saturday either) a 75% guest & Butcher would still be an improvement on a 4.00 guest & Cluff imo. But apparently he's not got GP commitments anyway.

Wasn't Starke signed well before the end of last season though? Like few months before. Prob was between Tobi/Vinnie/Hagon. -
I believe it is subject to management committee approval? Doesn't matter now with the (very good) Nicholls signing.

Foord would have been in place of Starke at reserve, if they wanted Foord he would have been signed before Starke was considered, my own opinion is that Starke was signed because it was decided not to have Foord. -

Poole were almost a point below the limit. Using Foord would still have left them well I feel the limit. It was a straight choice Starke or Foord. -

Foord had a higher average than Starke at the start of the season, wouldn't have given the team any points spare to strengthen elsewhere. -
