I believe they only get a guest up to his average for 28 days, then it's a "75% guest".
-
Agree with your points, although with no asset system, he could leave for another team next year. Hard to plan long term investments these days, before considering the points limit or all the best riders going to Poland.

Think you’ll see a lot of Reid Battye in the red & white until his average jumps above Hausl’s. After that it’s slim pickings guest wise. -

Transparency indeed... I don't know. Some on here seem to expect far too much... Let's hope when the "big reveal" takes place re TV coverage, (have I missed it as it was said to be this morning?), that Dan will also be confirmed as the major surprise to ensure a decent crowd... -
He wasn't withholding his services: SCB statement.

Two of the Aces top 3. Jason Doyle & Zach Cook required in Poland.

Difference between when a club declares a change and when they ride, what’s to say Jacob wasn’t going in at Scunny anyway and then Dan was unfortunately injured Scunny then using these injuries rather than performance as the reason for the change in their press release. Same with Poole their new lineup with Lightcap could have been presented to the BSPL on Friday or Saturday prior to the Berwick match, from memory a change has to be decanted three days prior to the rider making their debut although I’d need to double check on that one So in essence if Glasgow had/have redecorated their side prior to Friday then it would be ok, albeit giving the quotes from Cami it would appear that isn’t the case
-
He will be impressed by the size of the crowd, I imagine he could put a few on the gate as a young, promising, american speedway rider is a rare thing.
-
Yes well done, good prediction, young promising rider who should do well.

Poole v Scunthorpe - Championship - 12 August

Conspiracy theory! Maybe Oxford knew that Kennett wasn't giving his all for them, so waited for Poole to sign a replacement before bringing Riss back? They're way of not letting Kennett take advantage of them? -
Who's missing?

I think there needs to be some clarity on whether Dan is intending to take part or not. If he is then ticket sales might get a boost. If he isn't, and people have bought tickets based on him being in the draw, then there might be some negative reaction. Transparency required -
Does that mean the Tigers can use guests for both riders for the rest of the season? If so, they will have a good choice of riders for Howarth.
-
Maybe Eddie can come in to cover Kyle depending how long he is out the saddle for?
-
According to the SS last Thursday, Poole's 75% of fixtures was up at Berwick on Saturday. BUT just because the club only announced the signing today doesn't mean the deal/contract wasn't done last week. In fact MF heavily hinted it at the home meeting last Wednesday v Edinburgh.
-
Very shrewd signing .. If nothing else, he will get some interest generated and bring more in to watch... USA riders now a rarity so plenty of marketing opportunities locally to create some good publicity, as there is a definite "angle" to work... And, if it works out, a potential long term investment... I would say "typical Poole" but some might smash down their phones, tablets or laptops..

Good signing that, thought Kennett was nailed on after Oxford’s team change today. -
Now now marra don't be upsetting the pilots fans too much 😜

YouTube show quite a few of them... The ones I have seen had Harrison doing the programme presenting and Steve Rider at the track, and, I think, Dave Lanning doing the commentary... Central used to also do a few meetings from what I can see, covering the fair few Midland teams of the time, a mixture of league, cup and individuals... Regional TV companies must have got decent viewer numbers given some had a decent amount of tracks within their reach... -
Poor lad. Gonna be scared off from British Speedway when he rides that rubbishshow of a track.

Somewhat confusing, if Scunny can bring in Hook, and Poole are today (reportedly) signing up Slater Lightcap -- both signings after these clubs completed 11 Championship matches...... Why can't the Tigers make a couple of signings before their 12th match? Or can they? -
Well wot a surprise Slater lightcap 😄 isn't that who I predicted a few weeks ago, worky supporter tells pilots who to sign 😄

It’s like Pol Pots “Year Zero” with this guy. Speedway history didn’t restart the year you had a good season. Prior to last season and after you returned to our league, 10 times out of 12 we beat you on aggregate. Normal service has been resumed this year though I’m sure it will be erased from the record books should you have another decent year.
