Sheffield v Leicester 24/09 7:30pm - PO Semi 1st Leg

I laugh when people open their mouth on here and think they are clever without knowing facts. I’ve always stated guests are a joke FOR and AGAINST my club. I want to win a trophy with my team, not a bunch of guests who have nothing to do with why we got to the final. - Today

Masters cost lions in heat 14. He should be winning that. Great watch for the neutral though. Going to be some final -
No thank you. Last thing people want when going to speedway is for fans to start intimidating each other. Good luck Ipswich with this guy in charge if this is his big idea for speedway- you'll certainly need it.

King's Lynn Stars 2027
MassMarauder replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I'd be very sad to see Cooper and Jody up and leave Kings Lynn. One way to keep your fans is to keep riders who connect with the local fanbase. If they could possibly work it to get Rob Lambert back - and perhaps make some changes at the management level, then maybe the locals will stick with the team and come and out and support in greater numbers? I hate the constant churn of riders. I mean I feel no connection to Max Fricke, he's simply the newest hired gun. TBH every rider in the League pretty much moves and rides for a new team every couple of years, you don't get many riders who stay at one club that long, anymore. It's musical chairs. Sadly. -

How easy would it be if the worst thing came out of this and Lambert decides to race on a Polish licence?IS it just a signature on a a piece of paper or does it go deeper then that that with complex lists of doing stuff for the nation of the counrtry he is riding for?Maybe a stupid question but do you have to do national service in Poland for example which!! might put him off -

Did you make the same complaint about guests in 2023 when Bomber rode for you in the semi final ? Or was it only wrong when he then rode against you in the final ? - Yesterday

But Leicester finished higher than Lynn who signed Fricke. With Fricke, Leicester would've had to be weaker elsewhere. -

Yeah, on the last lap maybe should've tried to get in the way of Pickering more, rather than going for the win -

If Leicester had Kept Fricke, and was their choice not to, then make up of the main body of the team would not have been the same as what it is now. It would have had to be a lot weaker…..want to know how weak, look no further than Kings Lynn. -

But in the facial world that is UK speedway he is the only rider available on a par with Jack Holder who has saved Sheffields season, they must thank the stars Lynn never made the play off's or they would have been looking at Klindt or probably Lawson. Absolutely with Jack Holder out there are only three world class riders in the UK luckily for Sheffield the only season saving option was available. -

Loads of plaudits for Fricke but he could have easily cost Sheffield there place in the final with his excessively hard riding. -

Funny how a rider who failed to get in the play off with his contracted team from the start of the season can now knock out another team in the semi-finals. It’s surprising really that anybody watches speedway anymore with genuine love for their team. Nowadays it’s just for everyone to watch the sport. Coleman is right, tribalism of cheering on your team is completely dead in this sport and exactly why speedway won’t get new supporters through the door. First time in 4 years I couldn’t be bothered to watch the play offs. Good meeting or not it’s just beyond a joke. Rules need to change next year with a lot of other bits too. I’m an Ipswich fan but to be honest even if we build an awesome team what’s the point when other teams can’t follow suit and have good and fair competition. Surely everybody wants to win a competitive league and not this current state of affairs. Saying that, good luck Sheffield and Belle Vue and I hope you make some brilliant racing in the final! -

Do you really want to compare the history of Britain and Russia? What Russia are doing in Ukraine is not even close to what the British Empire did.
