  2. So MPT didn't look at the programme for helmet colour for his heat, nor did his mechanic and even more alarming the Team Manager didn't bother to check either. After MPT's exclusion for 2 minutes a couple of weeks ago for sauntering from the pit gate and not getting to the tapes in time, he needs to show a more professional attitude. He has cost the team points again and potentially a win overall.
  3. This call off does more plausible than the previous one. Problem is, we've had our fingers burnt too many times with wet tracks and Buster attempting to get raceable when we've been in the stadium...the riders, understandably (with today's bikes) just aren't interested.... similar to recent foxhall call off....
  4. The weather forecast for both nights of Manchester is pretty appalling. Does anyone know what the contingency plans are if one or both are rained off? Race on Sunday or even Monday? Travelling up from the South-East so want to assess Plan B options!
  5. Another strange thing by the ref, he gave a warning to Batchelor for moving at the start after heat 11 despite him leading for 2 laps, surely it should have been pulled back.
  6. Today
  7. Just watched it all back on BSN and Kemp was pretty hard on Flint in the first staging of 14, so received as good as he gave. Rerun was also the correct decision imo, they were still pretty close at the time of the stoppage.

The Superpole race from this weekend at Aragon was superb, best race in ages
  11. Seventies music played over the PA……surrounded by pensioners with programme boards…..ah, takes me back…..to the meeting I attended last week!
  12. Don’t think there will be too many complaints from the Lions camp as they would have been without Thompson and Howarth.

  14. What an absolutely heart warming thank you from Mr Workington Speedway ! If ever ANYONE gave a speech that was straight from their heart, this was IT. The amount raised was mind blowing looking at the bucket when Stoney opened it. But a lot of that is down to the gentleman that collected it. I will never forget those glory days of Stoney riding at DP, and of course in no more prestigious a place than the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff. I just wish I was subscribed to facebook so I could thank Stoney more directly for doing what he is doing. And as others have said, it was great that you still remembered my name stoney, after all those years, when I was donating to the bucket. Mr Workington speedway is welcome up here any time he wants, and good luck with the Rally marra ! All our love from your adopted town Stoney ! xx
  15. He is but it's his UK bank balance 😜
  16. Should show some commitment to the UK then!
  17. I know. I was asking why the rule is in place on my original comment. I can't think of one legitimate reason
  18. But he's married to an English girl and has family based in the Midlands
  19. Redcar wasn’t a Wednesday.Must have broke a nail.
  20. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/14cEbaE6r9t/ Stoney recently put up an emotional thank you video up after the collection on Saturday 😃🏁🔵⚪utc
  21. Didn’t get a penny out of me. He owes us supporters more
  22. Just reading rules like Poole do, so it works in our favour 😜
  23. Moral and Klindt should not be in the same sentence.🤔
  24. Boycotted years ago. You won’t get me back in that stadium
  25. Just do what I do and pretend there is no Speedway at King's Lynn... it works for me 👍🏻 They fell off my list of tracks to attend years ago. Been in the car park too many times as the meeting has been called off.
