  1. Yesterday
  2. 100% agree, but his third place would have put the meeting out of Glasgow's reach. An experienced rider would have known that and settled for third. His fall kept the Tigers in the match, but as you say, you can't knock a rider for having a go.
  3. Glasgow showing that top heavy teams with gash reserves very rarely work.
  4. Can’t blame a rider having a go, all racers, bad luck
  5. Basically, he was on for a safe third when he seemed to get a tad close to the rider in front of him. It unsettled him, and down he went.
  6. He was pushing for second place and lost control when a 4-2 would have won the meeting and tie. Should have just sat in third. Have to say I loved the tactics in ht13 not pushing for the 5-1 that would have triggered a Glasgow tac sub. Very smart
  7. Yes it looks that way, he could come good but it doesnt look promising. We seem to have signed him on the basis of one outstanding meeting, it seems obvious to keep Kyle Newman who has been very good.
  8. What happened? Was it a mechanical issue or a lack of concentration? Or something else?
  9. Back in the day, Howarth would have been a marked man. Someone would have put him through, and rightly so. Someone like Martin Goodwin was a hard rider, but fair and like other hard riders back then, could give it, but also take it. Howarth must think he's a bit of a hardman. After watching his performance with Pickering, I would suggest otherwise 😂
  10. Unfortunately his inexperience showed. He has a good third place. No doubt he will learn from that, and not let it happen again.
  11. I do agree with you, but Workington fans were saying Perry was the answer to their reserve problems. He had 4 rides yesterday at Workington and had four lasts!. He's been let go by both Poole and Glasgow. It just shows the standard at the lower end of some of the teams. As for Hagon. I'm sure Glasgow signed him on the back of his two u21 Championship wins. (which made sense) Riding down at reserve after being No2 at Berwick last year, also looked like a good move by Glasgow. Besides last night's meeting at Berwick for Berwick!, his actual best score for the Tigers has been 5+1!!
  12. You signed you keep him 😃 you were told how bad he was but you still signed him 🤣. Well not you personally but the club, think this is one Matt ford got wrong 🤣
  13. He usually doesnt start THIS slowly... Harris that is!
  14. Waiting for Harris to get into top gear, but he will need a bit better back up.If Howarth and Flint don’t get double figures they will struggle even at home.
  15. Palm Toft now replaces Sedgmen according to the Lions website.
  16. That last sentence needs to be the catalyst for changes.
  17. Torun lucky Fricke was so bad, but have they unearthed a talent in Kawczyński, his 5-1 with Blodorn got them out of trouble.
  18. Still not recovered from knee ligament damage from last year. Been racing in pain, but now been told to rest for two weeks.
