  2. Workington’s attendances this season have been great. The biggest crowds I’ve seen in the last couple of seasons. Last weekends looked the biggest yet.
  3. Mr Dudek all the riders have to do is refuse to ride, you have the power. If you all consider the track is unsafe. Refuse to ride.
  4. Cooper should be getting his proper average after 6 qualifying meetings ie after Redcar tomorrow and effective 7 days later I believe! So it'll be between Kyle and Fraser who drops to reserve... PS. Fraser lives at Matt Ford's and Matt has already stated publicly that Fraser just needs more track time. His intended Polish club went bust
  5. So if both teams were full of 'gate and go' experts then it should be a great meeting?! Reading some comments its almost as if gating shouldn't be considered a speedway skill? Weird! Speak to most speedway riders Gating is the best skill to have
  6. I don't have the inside track for contacting the Ford's. On the other hand Clive you do as a sponsor and reasonably well connected to them for many years. I'm happy for you to pass it on. It's not that I don't like Fraser and nothing to do with what happened at Workington end of last season. I just base on analysis of his scores in Poland over 4/5 years where you would have expected improvement to secure a place in one of the POL 3 leagues. You have to ask the question why he hasn't. I assume the guru's over there must have analysed his performances statistically just I can as a fan. I hope he does improve. I wonder what Matt & Danny will do after the next 4 meetings when I believe the first real GSA's come out and if his GSA is below or well below 5.42. Unless of course they feel he may do better at reserve once Rushen or Cairns go above him on GSA's.

  8. Yes our track for the past 2-3 seasons has been much better than it used to be … and yes it doesn’t suit riders who don’t have a larger skill set but those with talent and desire attack it and make the best of it . However this season it’s been poor really poor .. I’m not a deluded fan like a lot of Poole fans and just say the racing is excellent at my home track when clearly it isn’t Bewley doesn’t often do well there but is always complimentary about the track and tries 110% same as Fricke …. The only top riders I see that back off if they miss the gate are Kurtz and both Holders. I wish all tracks could be like Belle Vue but they aren’t so you pick a side that will go well at home on a track they excel at….. last season at Ipswich we struggled most against Kings Lynn who had Kvech Harris and Lawson as heat leaders … not a patch on Bewley Klindt and Lidsey …. But at Ipswich the first named trio performed better Poole field their team with gaters and it’s understandable when they have a track like they do .. same as us at Ipswich I remember an interview with Todd Wiltshire a few years back saying he used to be mesmerised with the skill set of Andrew Silver and Mark Loram on how they rode Arena Essex …. I remember seeing Darcy at Lakeside and he was a genius on that track for someone so young to have that throttle control was unreal
  9. Found this https://www.birmingham-speedway.com/extras/tables/tables.php?15. Average of over 4 from 2nd division around 18 years ago.
  10. 5 qualifiers from Opole Malkiewicz Mikolajczyk Kordun Sitek Ludwiczak
  11. It was gate’n’go against Belle Vue but the difference was that we are worse out of the gate than you. There wasn’t race after race of you guys picking us off over the four laps. Leicester are the best gaters in the league followed by Ipswich, both due to the nature of their home circuits so unless you get your gating gloves on or god forbid prep a racetrack then you will be vulnerable.
  12. Before the Leicester meeting at home I thought we were a good team and nothing has changed my mind. 1-7 never seen a team gate so badly every race we were behind coming out of the second bend. the track needs to be like it was for the BV meeting and can only see a heavy home win. If the track is a dusty mess then could be in for a bad night again the management should be focussed on this
  13. Because riders dont just say yes when asked, they will say "i will get back to you" etc..looking at fixtures, seeing the pay is ok
  14. 5 qualifiers from Krakow- only did 12 heats. Zurek Banbor Jaworski Halkiewicz Zielinski
  15. Thank you for posting and is always strange when people disappear and you have no idea why.Hope he RIP and condolences to everyone.
  16. I seen Craig at the Physios the other day. He is obviously getting some treatment for something

  18. I am all for giving half decent riders a chance but was against Bowes signing even when he was only rumoured as going to Poole in the close season. I also gave reasons for my concerns. This guy rode Poland for 4/5 years yet his form went backwards looking at his POL U24 form and POL second Lge scores. I would say to the degree that if was had not reached the over age liimit for this this season he probably would not have been offered a berth and his 2nd Div Team didnt want him back, with the team manager having been angry at his end of season performance. No team made an offer other than a POL team who I believe may not have even come to the tapes in 2026. You would think his scores in the U24 would have shown a steady improvement over the seasons but looking at them there was none over the seasons culominating with a poor 2025. Even Mitchell Cluff was above his 2 swasons running. I have seen nothing to show me he is an improver but I would love to be proved wrong. Yes he has some decent scores last year to achieve a 5 point GSA with Workington , but if he perform as he did over 4/5 seasons in Poland then I would not be surprised to see a lot more down scores than up. His scores are available in the statistics pages on POL U24 and POL Sportowe Fakty site.
  19. 90 seconds and you'd have been fine 👍
  20. No Thankyou, no disrespect to Lambert. But if Bowes was to be replaced (I would give him more time) I’d want it to be another upcoming rider. A Nagel type signing
  21. That’s an easy one the “gate and go “at Poole.
