  1. Past hour
  2. Butcher rode on the Island Tuesday. Didn't look 100% and withdrew from his last ride in some discomfort.
  3. Surely Mr Morris put a stop to all this kind of farce, when he became the head of all things good in uk speedway.
  4. More a case of Loftus is now less fit than Butcher I think
  5. Yeah, its been a long time Paul! Hopefully catch up next season 🤞 I was lucky enough to be in hospitality yesterday so avoided the dust on 1 & 2 😬 Got to watch hts 12 & 13 from the centre green, great battle between Dan and Tate 👍
  6. Butcher injured Loftus guests. It will be hard for the Chargers to overcome the loss of Scott.
  7. Shame I never saw you yesterday, haven't seen you since the Derwent Park days . Look yesterday was one of those days , it happens, Workington were better than us on the day . We still have much to look forward to , beat Edinburgh on Friday and we finish top . But we need to gate much better on Wednesday to have any chance of overcoming Poole in the KO Cup .
  8. Today
  9. Shame Edinburgh couldnt beat them, maybe someone told them to doctor the track to suit Glasgow!
  10. I strongly doubt that Emil Sayfuinov or Artem Laguta will even be considered for a WC choice. The FIM still has a no Russian policy & thats not just for Track Racing. Although both former Russians are now believed to be Polish nationals neither has competed in the PZM Polish Championship so would probebly not be nominated by the National Federation
  11. According to this forum, Tungate had walked from the club...and that Oxford riders were owed large sums of monies. Guess time will tell if there is any foundation to them.
  12. I did... you said Saturday night has been the making of a team... a team is 7 of a clubs own riders in my book I'll add a ffs also... not quite sure why 🤷‍♂️
  13. Saturday night speedway has been the making of the business (on the face of it)... certainly not the team, it's been another shambles of a season regarding the Glads number 1
  14. Great win for Workington. Honestly didn’t see that coming after watching them at Armadale and Northside last weekend. Hugely grateful to the Glasgow fans for stepping up as the guardians of ‘good racing’ again.
  15. I dont think he is riding well enough for Premiership even at reserve.
  16. Real Mini Company Oxford Chargers powered by AW Mobbs: Dayle Wood (G), Senna Summers, Jacob Clouting, Ashton Vale, Darryl Ritchings, Arran Butcher, Max Broadhurst. Steelers: Luke Harrison, Mickie Simpson R/R, Harrison Rogers (G), Vinnie Foord, Ben Morley, Luke Harris, Sam Woods.
  17. Saturday speedway has been the making of a team, no great surprise. Plymouth have to sort out this heat leader position properly before 2026 and could be play off material. another miracle last night with half a team .
  18. A real shame to be shutting down with over 2 months of the season still to go then 🤷‍♂️
  19. Got to get this off my chest. Has anyone noticed that riders are now regularly removing their cut out connectors from their wrists before reaching the pits after a race is completed. Last week Cameron Heeps took his off in heat 15 of Oxford v Poole on the third bend of the last lap when at the back. I know you can argue it’s low level risk but why not keep it attached until the motor is deadened? Must be some rule or other about this?
  20. Hopefully Ellis is ok. We’ll find out when the Sheffield preview drops on Tuesday. If he ends up missing the play offs, then Rew has to come in to the equation surely? Average fits, and he still feels like a Witches rider so more palatable than someone else. After a slow first half of the season, he’s ridden in to good form the last third of the season also.
  21. If ya thinking about Scotty then he may be an option at reserve around Foxhall if Ellis is gonna be out for a while, he started off slowly his first few meetings back but seems to be back on it now.
  22. Again another great night at Plymouth and another big crowd who loved every moment. The crowds are getting bigger and it’s consistent, it really is rising in popularity in Plymouth and the work the media team, Barry and mark have done is incredible. not sure how to post videos from Facebook on to here but there is a brilliant one summarising the evening and it really engages with the locals. Also the touch of added brilliance of the fire work display really added to the event. I feel like Plymouth could be a team to watch next year 👀
