Don’t think it’s over seen by PGE. They are more into energy. It’s like saying ROWE motor oil done good prep work at foxhall 😂 -
I am inclined to agree that it was a bit of gaming from Lyon - the ref in the other hand should have known - even I sodding knew and I have never even read the rule book!! what people have also overlooked is it gets the KL / Ipswich rivalry, which had been really one sided of late back, to a more even footing which can only been good for the sport - a few boos a a panto villain in Kerr and Rob Lyon playing silly beggars over a rule!!

What about Northampton?
Triple.H. replied to RoundTheBoards's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Too close to Northampton 😁 -
He left such a gap - I think he should have turned earlier, and Kerr wouldn’t have had the opportunity. As we saw from several riders, the wider area provided nothing by way of grip - it was only if they stuck their back wheel on the inner edge of the dirt line. Maybe Thompson was aiming for that, Kerr simply dived under him and negotiated the bend quite easily.

Is It Finally Time For One League?
ShanoXtra replied to TheSmiler's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Not to be harsh but I didn’t turn up last night to watch Kings Lynn so I wasn’t bothered, kings Lynn were far superior, I was disregarding our other 5 riders. Although Doyle and Emil are another few levels above Klindt and Harris! -

Yes the same polish authorities who let rybnik and Lublin field those teams in the same league,so clearly they know what they are doing, hope ZG fans and others keep doing it, speedway needs passion and mad fans and mad fans let off flares, no disrespect to you but you’re an old man like myself and we are not the future of speedway, only difference is I’m like a big kid or so my Mrs says 😂

Is It Finally Time For One League?
YeOldPitGate replied to TheSmiler's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The best solution I could see if the money was there to make it happen would be the polish model, 8 in top league and 8-10 in division 2, once home and away most promoters don't own the stadiums so this should reduce losses as less meetings but the shortened season would mean seeing the top boys only once and hopefully lead to more meaningful meetings. The top boys could still pick up there 4-6k and maybe a few more would come back with a shortened season, the second strings could still double down to boost their earnings. Try and run meetings at least fort nightly rather than monthly avoiding the 6 meetings in two weeks early October scenario and more fans losing interest due to no regular schedule. This would save seeing the same teams/riders every week, if you knew Emil was coming once a year rather than three/four times you might turn up. As I say the money isn't there to make it happen but its like anything in life if you wanted to get fit maybe you would look at what Ronaldo's fitness routine is rather than sticking with a diet of kebabs and coke and expecting a different result. - Today

are you talking about just ippo riders or lynn too as the scores of harris and klindt in particular suggest they were far from 'shocking' -

I can hear it now "do you fancy moving up and increasing your cost base by 30-40% with minimal increase in your attendance and we only want you moving up as the current club members are either folding or looking to drop out" -
A point worth making about heat 14 last night though is that the reason there was no contact is purely down to self preservation from Dan T Should you have to take a hit from an incoming missile in order to benefit from exclusion decision? Certainly being in one piece is far more important than the result.......

You never know what you will get with Jye. I seem to remember him having good meetings against the Tigers but when they booked him as a guest he wasn't so hot. I'm afraid I think this could be a banana skin for the Tigers. If all the bears ride at their 'Ashfield best' the tigers could be in trouble particulalry as they are without Leon Flint and Dan Thompson. -

Why would they? They aren’t interested in winning anything they have proven that time and again over numerous years. One can only conclude that they must do well enough through sponsorship and admission money whilst putting out sub standard teams so why would that suddenly change. -
