  1. Past hour
  2. Is this the first year in a long time that there are no guest riders in all 4 teams in play offs
  3. I assume not as it would surely have been dealt with in the same statement.
  4. Cook and Ellis are they key riders tonight imo.
  5. 52-38 to Belle Vue, Aces top two will be backed up well by Lidsey and Cook. Don’t think Emil and Doyle will pick up many wins but should get a decent haul, will be reliant on King and Brennan as Ellis has not done well at NSS apart from the season he won British Final.
  6. Poor crowd tonight, can’t understand why, can only think due to previous results.
  7. Surely the main match for TV( Premier and Poland) tomorrow has to be switched to the 2nd leg of Lejonen v Smederna !! Otherwise it’s just a joke.
  8. Ellis at reserve is key, could quite easily nail a double figure score but then again he's dropped to reserve for a reason!...love the Belle Vue track and what it throws up racing wise, should be a cracker.
  9. watch along/unofficial fan commentary live on our YouTube from 7.30pm! Get in the comments, give us score predictions etc and have some general chat with us with the racing!
  10. BV -6 @1.90 (now 1.80) and the tie @ 9.00 Good luck if having a bet..
  11. Is that because it always rains down south, another sunny day in Manchester today.
  12. I thought ht 14 result announcement was wrong but came to conclusion places had changed on last corner and I’d missed it. Separately, does Vinnie get a ban?
  13. Danny Ford said if they didn't run this Tuesday then the next available Wednesday would be the 24th!! So watch this space - or more relevantly the results of meetings from now til 23rd!!
  14. Today
  15. I’m still adamant Lidsey and Cook tonight hold the key to the meeting Keep these two to a combined score of 14 or less and job done
  16. My first ever Speedway meeting as a 6 year old was Cradley v Newport in September 1968. A damp, exciting spectacle under the lights, I was smitten straight away and my favourite rider from night one was Chris Julian. The programme shows paid 9 from 3 completed rides and an exclusion, I can remember he was involved in some typical Julian escapades during the evening. Sadly his career as a Heathen only lasted one more home meeting for me as when we came to the tapes in 1969 he was no longer a Heathen, but a Wasp. Still maintained a soft spot for him throughout the rest of his career and can remember going to see Newport when they rode at Monmore the following season (a place we would usually only visit when the Heathens were there).
  17. I think 12 is easily getable back at foxhall No tac subs allowed and twice at Foxhall Belle Vue have bought Kurtz in as tac sub and got two 5-1’s…. They can’t in this
  18. I was asked several weeks ago and have texted the last few home meetings. Was ready to do the same on Saturday, but alas there was no updater
  19. Yes, Woryna will ride after all. Still a partially fractured wrist but Woryna claims that he is fit.
  20. Especially with some clubs having large gaps in the fixture lists. How would they ever cope with 2H & 2A?
  21. I would think the other way would make more sense, fans may turn up to the BSN / KOC finals in greater numbers of they don't know if there's a play-offs final to come or not?
  22. Should have got the BSN series finished months ago. It's normally the same teams in the later stages of competitions, so spreading the finals out makes sense to me.
  23. Small home win for Belle Vue tonight 48-42 . Cannot see Brad Kruz or Danny Bewdley risking too much with an " SGP" coming up. Weather wil upset the second leg - as always in the p.offs.
  24. Full Teams and a good match in prospect ..rare for uk Speedway
