  1. Past hour
  2. You need to buy the license to promote along with any other (fixed or intangible) assets the current owner deems “for sale”.
  3. I am sure we all wish him a speedy recovery and hope we see him soon riding for Glasgow, they certainly missed him last night.
  4. If you watched it you could see he was limping on parade and also had a big crash in his last heat where the rider in front chain came off and Villads ploughed into him was down for a while but he did go out for his rerun just hope he makes Friday
  5. Whats happened to Bowes after his facebook outburst? He mentions he is riding this weekend in an earlier post then mentions he cant get to Poole and his season is over. Surely if he wanted to get to Poole tonight he could of got there? Sounds fishy to me. Where does this leave Workington? Surely Marek Cieslak's comments havent made him turn his back on the UK?
  6. Wasn’t that great was limping at the parade struggled in a few of his races and also had a big crash in his last heat but did manage to go out for the rerun
  7. Planning apps are now in for the Abbey to be demolished. https://pa.swindon.gov.uk/publicaccess/applicationDetails.do?keyVal=T2SDBXPTIS200&activeTab=summary https://pa.swindon.gov.uk/publicaccess/applicationDetails.do?keyVal=T2SL27PTISU00&activeTab=summary
  8. If it's two leagues in 2026 then Glasgow and Poole shouldn't be allowed to compete in the Championship for starters. Both clubs have the finances, sponsorship and a successful business model in place to run in the Premiership. 7/8 Team PREMIERSHIP (Belle Vue, Glasgow, Ipswich, King's Lynn, Leicester, Poole, Scunthorpe & Sheffield?) 7/8 Team CHAMPIONSHIP (Berwick, Edinburgh, Mildenhall, Northampton?, Oxford, Plymouth, Redcar & Workington)
  9. More misinformation and fuel testing was not the reason Lawson missed the Glasgow meeting.
  10. Sad News. Whoever is interested will surely want too know what is in the pipeline for next season before even thinking about becoming involved and investing in the sport.( might well know already though).BSPA have more secrets than the Masonic Lodge.
  11. Fingers crossed Nigel Tolley keeps Sheffield Speedway alive, Don't want to see the Sport in this country lose another club. Hope to hear some positive news in the near future.
  12. No, Kennett was a Coventry rider when that happened.
  13. Today
  14. Well you were a co director at Brum so would have more of an idea than most of us 🫠, the rumour has been around for a few months now and he is good friends with Drillerman, my only surprise is that a deal has not already been done, which throws a little doubt as to why hats have not been doffed already, unless it's because Mrs Tophat prefers him to take a year out.
  15. You really are a sad individual if you think any speedway fan would want to see another club close!!!!!
  16. Wow you must love us to keep giving us your money!
  17. Oh no ..... not another cheat. 😞 Thought all methanol had to be purchased at the track to avoid this sort of thing happening ? Then we had Edward Kennett and the infamous silencer tampering scandal - a Poole Rider at the time I think ? All tyres have to be issued at the track after the tyre tampering scandal some years ago - oh I think that involved the Poole team too ?
  18. Sad to hear this. Let's all hope that a credible new owner will pick up the reins. Lost my track 51 years ago now - Sunderland 'Stars' so I know how you Sheffield Fans are feeling at the moment.
  19. Looks like a good and interesting formula of racing at Tiger's Academy . Nice to see something a little different from the usual 15 heat formula . Hope the youngsters dont get over enthusiastic and try out the air fence too often. Ipswich were always leaders in doing something different with their 16 lapper being innovative.
