  1. Past hour
  2. I thought Jamie Courtney picked the Berwick team
  3. Don’t let the truth get in the way of a good trolling. 🤣
  4. Yes a much bigger farce then Kvech or Kai…. Tai was so bad in 2024 he wasn’t offered a wild card for 2025…… he then has an horrific accident which thankfully he recovered from but doesn’t ride all season …. To now be deemed to be a better rider than he was in 2024 is farcical …. For what it’s worth I don’t believe Kvech or especially Kai should be back in the series in 2026 but I would have had both of them ahead of Woffinden …along with all the reserves and Michelsen Also for what it’s worth I agree with you on all the other points though lol
  5. Usually lifts all trophies in the south in the 2nd leg! North will make a pleasant change.
  6. One question that I'd like to know the answer to: has anyone asked Bartosz to do any of this? It's a fair point that he might price himself out of individual meetings, but WBD have 'promoted' the GPs for the last 5 seasons. They are a multi-billion dollar, global organisation, I'm certain they had the resources to ferry Bartosz around the world. He's the best speedway rider of a generation (potentially the best ever), he's exciting, and he's in a country that has fanatical speedway support. It's not exactly a hard sell. Go and arrange a GP in Argentina, plaster him on every channel, have him do exhibition rides. I do partly agree with the concept that the World Champion should represent our sport, but equally, what can he do on his own? If he rides in individual meetings in UK/Czech, then probably 75% of the audience has seen him in a GP anyway. The lesser nations is where it needs representation but what use is rocking up in Argentina and riding in a random individual?
  7. Kacper Pludra to Poznań. Szymon Woźniak, Kai Huckenbeck, Aleksandr Łoktajew and Krzysztof Buczkowski retained by Bydgoszcz
  8. Agree regard Howarth, how can he say he never touched him, but stupid with TV cameras there as well.

  10. a big difference in one of these pictures is he wasnt a guest. Dont people want less guests?
  11. I get that but he let you down badly in the final that’s all and your manager was obviously not impressed with his attitude … he took a point of Dan T late on when Dan’s bike packed up Also when a rider makes an error why do they not just hold their hands up From someone in the pits King went up to Masters and apologised …. Howarth was shouting off that he never touched Doyle …. Nothing against Howarth a good team man and wasn’t deliberate but he can’t actually think there was no contact lol
  12. What, and ruin the unbridled joy of these hard-working guests?
  13. Now if you could take even half that crowd, the atmosphere, the passion and commitment, bottle it and replicate it at say 8-10 tracks for even half the meetings each year you would have quite a sporting spectacle on your hands.....
  14. Today
  15. Not a bad watch, fair play for Leicester for keeping it interesting throughout the meeting despite losing at home. Think Lions can consider themselves a little unlucky in the early heats. Congratulations to the Witches on their first title since TRick, Gollob & Clouting!
  16. Why did he do that ? Surely your not saying the guest rider accepted a Premiership winning medal after riding in a single meeting 😀
  17. as this year has proved there is no such thing as 'last rising star pick'.
  18. Yes i noticed that too, ive always thought if i was a rider who came in as a guest just for a final to replace an injured rider who had ridden all season if that injured rider doesnt also get a medal i would hand over mine to him, out of interest do injured riders actually recieve a medal?
  19. While Speedway is very much a numbers game it is also about completing 4 laps. As I've said before I absolutely hate riders not completing 4 laps when they are clearly able to do so and last night it all came home to roost, some will say it didn't make any difference in the eventual outcome, but sport is all about the moment and had Lions needed a 5-1 instead of a 5-0 in that last race that's a whole different ball game mentally. Kemp has displayed attitude problems throughout his career, will he learn from last night? Personally I doubt it, his attitude is in his make up, I do hope he learns from it... just not at Leicester. Whether Mr Dickson sees it the same way I wouldn't be so sure... he looked very prepared to take Nick Morris back during the summer and did so with Berwick.
  20. Feels like a pretty impossible task - but I am hopeful of at least a good meeting. I think Flint and Trigger are decent picks. If we somehow come out and hit a couple of early heat advantages then you never know, but I think the focus just has to be on winning the meeting itself which will be tough enough. A bit of the shame how the season has ended for us, but still a chance of picking up at least 1 trophy.
  21. WooHoo Witches!!! Absolutely marvellous! Son #1 and I watched it this afternoon (Friday) here in sunny Perth Hills. What a fascinating meeting to finish, with incidents, talking points, and a superb team effort by the Witches: only six heat winners - yet by six different riders; top men looking for their partners; the engine room coming up with the goods - Brennan and Rew scoring decisive 5-1s, King taking care of Heat 8; and the reserves taking points off their opposite numbers. Really can't ask for more - huge congrats to Chris Louis, in particular, for never giving up 👏 Cheers!
