  2. Another negative article about Oxford Stadium in the mail. Not a good look, even if it has no substance. https://www.oxfordmail.co.uk/news/25737397.heavily-indebted-oxford-stadium-misses-key-accounts-deadline/
  3. Hope ya right,Always round 3 ,could be testing or guessing, he’ll be right by the start of season
  4. I would not read too much in to the results in Australia, come March/ April he will be fine. He dropped a point off his average last season so I am expecting a big improvement. He has a marginally higher average than Bowes and is clearly a much better rider so I would expect a much bigger difference in their averages at the end of the season.
  5. Which is a lot further than the BSPL have done many times with there plans over the years. 😂
  6. Talk about being hypercritical. I thought it was only reddit football fans that jumped to conclusions so quick. Tate has been very good in Aus. He finished third and fifth overall in his first two meetings over there, only getting beaten by people youd expect him to. Whereas Hook, who you all seem to be praising, was absolutely awful, getting beat by junior riders. Yesterday he was disappointing but it was due to bike issues and today hasn't been much better. I expect he'll push on as the championship progresses but we'll see. Zischke will most certainly be a better rider this season with less travelling and better equipment. Edit: dont think im slating Hook here, because im not. Hook was phenomenal last season and if it were up to me, he would have been first name on the list. Yes there are doubts around whether he can perform in the main body of the team, but he earned a chance by his performances last season.
  7. I think we signed the wrong ausie , is Lemon his mech for the nite?
  8. Today
  9. Pretty sure that averages in that era included bonus points, but even so, he was very impressive. Tall riders tend to look clumsy on a bike but he was an exception.
  10. Shouldn't be getting beaten by those guys... Hopefully all comes good in Mildura...
  11. should of walked that race not looking good.at all.
  12. Got to agree that Tate should be making the Semis at a canter... Appreciate he had bike issues yesterday, but thought he claimed to have them sorted... Hopefully a stronger last couple of rides from him
  13. Poor move regardless imo. Kurtz and Bewley is massive one-two punch but the rest of the team can't be anything to rave about imo considering it's just over 19.00 left for 4 Riders.
  14. Went a bit too wide in his 3rd ride without generating the speed to get around. Hooky is doing okay again. Tate should really be top 7 in this field in my opinion, anything less is disappointing.
  15. We were fortunate to be able to see Michael in full flight. A joy to watch.
  16. Mmmm, judging by performance in Australia, dropping Lidsley might be a poor move. Still reckon the BV will make the p.offs though.
  17. Tate not doing particularly well... Hooky on the other hand is putting in some good efforts!!
  18. lidsey looking good again, sorting jack out needs to do it in the final. big loss for Bellevue for me.
  19. Not the way Tate would want to start the Aussie Champs. Preparation is everything. See how he goes today. Poor first 2 rides.
  20. C Holfder, Pickering, Etheridge. Not sure on RS. Would Harrison be up to it?
  21. Indeed - I've even known one time where a rider took such a knock to the left ankle that it caused so much pain and confusion it made him limp on the right one It's truly amazing the lengths they go to sometimes to entertain us. Hang on he didn't - he pulled out of the meeting instead
  22. Yesterday
  23. Loram must have been around 5 as he rode at number 6
  24. I must be looking at different results, hope I can see it round 2
  25. Probably lots of questions ..... but no one has any answers
  26. Absolutely would. Wouldn’t have any issue doing that whatsoever.
