  1. Past hour
  2. It's probably a bit of both in reality but the jump from NDL to Champ is too big; as I've said elsewhere doubling up also needs to be brought under control and be a means of bringing on young brits and not topping up the salaries of Masters, Harris, Pickering etc. People find it hard enough to identify with their team and riders without doubling up/down. As for Championship RS's, absolutely agree.
  3. Yes, I really think they need to dictate a dedicated development place at #7 for each team. I would insist they must get 4 rides too.
  4. The Championship isn't too strong, it's the Premiership that's got weaker. It would help young riders develop if the Championship had rising stars.
  5. Don’t think that will fit, not sure what will happen with Chris
  6. No complaint from Tom as he wouldn't have a leg to stand on! boom boom Tish!🤣
  7. Would that fit with him in as well? CH to Northampton? I mean he does live there!
  8. As expected due to earlier leaks by speedwayfans.se. Of the remaining riders from Smederna 2026 Poll is the nr1 priority to keep.
  9. Today
  10. I think we can forget about Eastbourne any time soon !

  12. So any guesses on the remaining 4 riders to sign for Redcar for the 2027 season that will be revealed at the Xmas PArty on the 5th December ? Most people have this septet down as the likely team 1 Charles Wright © 8.68 2 Jake Mulford 5.13 3 Jason Edwards 6.28 4 Jody Scott 6.00 5 Danny King 7.76 6 Ace Pijper 4.15 7 Charlie Southwick 2.00 40.00
  13. Senna Summers rides Sandy Lane better than Max Perry, other than that I’d be happy with that lineup
  14. "Worst team on paper ?" easy Phil nobody knows what Lynn and Northampton are going with yet let alone Eastbourne who will need Tolley's millions if they are coming into the fold.
  15. It helps a great deal when you are not forced to make changes due to the rules, something Belle Vue have had to do year on year whereas Ipswich only once at the start of ‘26. Considering the amount of changes the witches have made when not required compared to the few The Aces have made out of necessity I cannot say continuity is a word I would associate with the witches. There was the Covid year when Ipswich signed Jason Crump on an 8.21 average but as the season never happened it was carried over to 2021. When Louis saw his team didn’t fit he went to his cartel buddies and had Jason’s average changed to 8.00 rather than re jig his team as others had to. 😡 The only time recently that Belle Vue could have remained unchanged the cartel altered the limit forcing us into our regular change. https://ipswichwitches.co/2020-witchesjason-crump/ https://britishspeedway.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/p21_issue_1.pdf

  17. Respect to Mark for the continuity, I just thought you'd make at least one more change in the 1-5 to bolster the spearhead.
  18. Which would defeat the object of having them wouldn't it?.... If all you are doing is letting them ride against lesser riders it just says it isn't fit for purpose... If the aim is to make the top two tiers clearly different in standard, using the RS scheme in the top tier simply won't allow that to happen..
  19. Id go for loftus as RS, although personally id scarp it all together till we have a bunch of riders that are ready, throwing these lads in this season will do more damage than good, unless they change the race format and they only face reserves and 2nd strings
  20. Great 1 to 5, so much pressure on the reserves. If it faces the expected Poole team and other teams that are strength in depth it will be an intriguing matchup, not so much pressure on Masters and Brennan as Killeen and Howarth will certainly back them up
  21. The jump has always been pretty big but the dropping of minimum average to 2.00 has seen a lot given places / chances that wouldn't have been if it was 3.00. The reality is the gulf between the top at bottom at CL has been to high for a while, 10 point and 2 point riders in the same race is always going to create a big disparity...doesn't mean i know what the solution is though
  22. doesn’t leave much for the no 6. rising star position will be interesting too. Initial thoughts were hodder due to his links with the previous NDL team but with his recent leg injury will anyone take that risk?
