We spoke to a taxi driver in Krakow about speedway and he didn't know anything about it. He vaguely recalled playing amateur football on a pitch inside a track once, but had never watched a meeting. It’s a minority sport and we just have to accept the fact.It was popular in UK at one time but is slowly slipping into obscurity nowadays. It’s credibility as a professional sport is low,and attracting new fans and keeping them is a problem.IMO Other forms of Bike Sport in GB are doing OK these days though and attracting decent attendances.

He won’t be riding unfortunately. But I’ll be there to cheer them on anyway.

Edward’s is a slow burner IMO.Think he is well in control of the bike and can pull off some big wins when it matters.

Jason Edwards has a lot of potential I believe and seems very level headed and intelligent, I am sure he will score a few points tonight for Redcar as well.

I think Edward’s rides better under pressure. Doesn’t panic or make mistakes which I’m not sure you can say about Jenkins who appears a bit more accident prone. Would Jenkins have beaten Becker? I doubt it.

Got to be positive about tonight. Redcar are a good team and have run both Poole and Glasgow close away from home. Expect them to give it their all but with Richard Lawson back we should have the edge on them. BSN doing a steam special of £19.99 for both legs if you are not a subscriber.

Don’t hold out much hope for Redcar in either home or away legs of this fixture. Obviously hope I’m wrong but can only see a comfortable win for Poole. So much so I doubt I’ll pay for either stream. I’ve not been to a live meeting since the British GP in June and watched most Redcar meetings via stream but missed a few and it’s not bothered me that much. I think the constant guests, lack of continuity of meetings have taken their toll on my enjoyment. Hopefully by the time March comes I might get the urge to go back.
