  1. Past hour
  2. Such a nice lad is Dan. One of speedway’s real good guys. Never met anyone with a bad word to say about him.
  3. It would have been common sense to warn them both, but perhaps the rule book doesn’t allow the ref that freedom?
  4. I wonder if it's time to exclude the rider that jumps if the person next to them gets suckered in? How you prove that with some micro movements would be tricky though.
  5. King excluded. Got suckered through the tapes when Anders twitched. King don’t fancy 15 metres against a 16 year old?
  6. Well if you're gonna be there every week you need to feel comfortable
  7. He really does like it here doesn’t he.. 😁
  8. Another professional dive.Saying that the Briggo dirt deflector causes more falls than it does deflecting dirt!!
  9. The challenge is to get that kind of jeopardy and consequence into the qualifiers... And to get a decent away following at each meeting to deliver some atmosphere.. The racing today is no better or worse than 50 years ago when I was a kid, I would say.... The huge difference is the lack of atmosphere nowadays driven by such low (mainly home team following) crowd turnouts for the POQ's... Back then even an average meeting was worth attending given the crowd participation and interaction.. Give the majority of the POQ's greater relevance and the sport can only benefit... Another opportunity also maybe to get the league completed before the KO Cup... A night where a team wins the league should then generate at least one more meeting to maintain the "feel good" momentum created by the victory... Instead, we invariably have a six month hiatus and when the "Champions" do come back, several of their riders will often have left to meet team average rules... It would also give those not reaching the PO's a chance for silverware thus maintaining interest in the season for their fans, with every meeting having relevance... NB. I do accept there is always a possibility that some non completed POQ's could still get run after the final to give the Champs an extra match!!!
  10. After taking time to reflect on last night. Two meetings this week involving two great sides who ride each others home circuits as well as their own. A great crowd at Leicester on Monday & a massive one last night at Ipswich. No idea on the figure but easily the best I have possibly ever seen on the heath. For me personally as an Ipswich fan the right result. Well done to all the lads & to Kenyan for covering Adam so well. Even if your not involved all season you are still a witch & it was great to see Rew lay it on the line at times. That shows the regard these boys hold he club once they have riden for us. Well done to Leicester for making it a cracking night, your fans are superb had some great conversation with them. A great advert for the sport & hopefully gives everyone a shot in the arm & reminds them what this sport could be. For Emil it must have felt like riding at Torun with pack stands! Hopefully it’s not the last we have seen of Emil but I have a hunch that that chapter may have come to a fitting conclusion.
  11. Today
  12. You're welcome to him, I never want to see him at Leicester again. Good luck 🀞
  13. You can’t. The loop hole was closed to riders who don’t ride in the uk for the rest of the season. Rew had been riding all season for Birmingham so can guest as per the uk regs.
  14. Ellis Perks won all 3 leagues in the same season (2019)
  15. Yes team does look stronger than on Wednesday, but!!!!!! for me it depends how tired Danny and Jason are, they have ridden on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, tonight, then on Friday at home, and finally on Sunday v Glasgow, still think we will beat Poole on the night but only 47 _43.
