If Leicester had Kept Fricke, and was their choice not to, then make up of the main body of the team would not have been the same as what it is now. It would have had to be a lot weakerā¦..want to know how weak, look no further than Kings Lynn. -

But in the facial world that is UK speedway he is the only rider available on a par with Jack Holder who has saved Sheffields season, they must thank the stars Lynn never made the play off's or they would have been looking at Klindt or probably Lawson. Absolutely with Jack Holder out there are only three world class riders in the UK luckily for Sheffield the only season saving option was available. -

Loads of plaudits for Fricke but he could have easily cost Sheffield there place in the final with his excessively hard riding. -

Multiple changes from the original lineup. Dissapointing but surely they new Poland would be a consideration. -

Sheffield are lucky Fricke is available, it certainly makes it a more interesting final. Fricke is now part of the Sheffield play off team. -

Funny how a rider who failed to get in the play off with his contracted team from the start of the season can now knock out another team in the semi-finals. Itās surprising really that anybody watches speedway anymore with genuine love for their team. Nowadays itās just for everyone to watch the sport. Coleman is right, tribalism of cheering on your team is completely dead in this sport and exactly why speedway wonāt get new supporters through the door. First time in 4 years I couldnāt be bothered to watch the play offs. Good meeting or not itās just beyond a joke. Rules need to change next year with a lot of other bits too. Iām an Ipswich fan but to be honest even if we build an awesome team whatās the point when other teams canāt follow suit and have good and fair competition. Surely everybody wants to win a competitive league and not this current state of affairs. Saying that, good luck Sheffield and Belle Vue and I hope you make some brilliant racing in the final! -

Do you really want to compare the history of Britain and Russia? What Russia are doing in Ukraine is not even close to what the British Empire did. -

Fricke is a top rider, we have seen that in both meetings, he is the only rider riding tonight who can compete with the top two of Belle Vue. It is a shame he has had an inconsistent season for Kings Lynn -

Leicester are better without Fricke are they? 𤫠Guess what, he comes in as a guest and over both meetings, rips Leicester a new one 𤣠That should be leason learned from the Leicester promotion. When it comes to those crunch moments in big matches, a genuine No1 makes a huge huge difference. -
CVS obviously isnt going to be interested, hes getting on in age now to say the least and has had to overcome some serious illnesses. I have seen at least 20 people on the Newport sos page saying how they miss the sport and its an outrage the council hasn't brought it back etc.. yet i didnt see them attend a Newport meeting since the Smart and Henriksson days. People come out once its too late in support but weren't there when the club needed them. I know circs are different at Wolves regarding the closure but expecting anyone to put money into a club to start again when they can see whats happening to the sport around them is insane. I am stunned Northampton happened to be honest, yes they are getting good crowds now but all new clubs do for the first season or 2. Once fans get sick of seeing a poor side they drop off thats why its crucial Northampton have a decent team next year.

Exciting stuff. With hindsight if either Leicester rider had laid it down after contact in the superheat, I reckon the referee might well have ruled in their favour. But Iām glad they didnāt and tried to do it the honest way. -

Plus from memory when Cradley were in the national league running at Wolves they were getting in excess of 2k per meeting, I totally get Pinny's point but if there's one track that could relaunch and get decent crowds my bet is Cradley would be it.
