  1. Past hour
  2. Good to see you didn't rock the boat about Cradley on the podcast đź« .
  3. Yes, and I suspect his attempts at sabotage won't just be aimed at Cradley, but other clubs around the UK as well
  4. Could I ask if Jake Allen was ok after his fall? He seems to have been forgotten in all of this.
  5. It all comes down to the league final now for the Tigers. It was a diddy cup anyway. praying for rain offs this week.
  6. Redcar have been awarded the win of the abandoned Glasgow meeting because they had more heat advantages over the two legs. In the rules as the BSPA statement explains. Nowt against Glasgow, glad Redcar “won” though.
  7. If the Tigers needed any additional motivation towards winning the Championship, they surely got it with the news that Redcar will complete in the BSN final. That aside, the welcome news on the casualties and the excellent response of the Bears and Tigers supporters and staff must be applauded.
  8. Are you sure Oxford aren't running in the top league in 2026? Spires, no... but Cheetahs?
  9. Great news that nobody is seriously injured. I hope they're all back at a track very soon. Equally good news for BSN subscribers, feels like it's ages since Redcar v Poole has been on.
  10. Another trophy gone. You could argue misfortune with the tie being decided in the boardroom, but the decision was based on what happened on the track. Between this and the disappointment of flopping at home to a depleted Poole side without their talisman (Lawson) and Kerr after one ride, it’s bitterly frustrating. The top heavy team building hasn’t worked and our gating has been atrocious. The season could still be a success, of course, with the Play-Off final this week, but worth reflecting after crashing out of the KO Cup and BSN Series, despite being favourites.
  11. The real winners are the injured but now ok fans and the medics and volunteers. Very difficult scenario and well done to both sides.
  12. Fantastic news that there were no serious injuries.
  13. Fair is fair. Frustrating, but the rulebook is in place to accommodate these scenarios. The award was made in the boardroom, but the tie was lost on the track. Another trophy gone.
  14. FOLLOWING the abandonment of the Redcar v Glasgow BSN Series semi-final 2nd leg on Sunday October 12 prior to Heat 15, with the scores all level on aggregate but being unable to decide a winner of the tie on track, the Speedway Control Bureau have made the following statement. There is no alternative with the scores level on aggregate at the time of the BSN Series semi-final being abandoned, and the result of the tie will have to be decided by SCB Regulation 012.1.26 Abandonment, which states: "The team who scored the most heat advantages (5-0, 5-1, 4-2, 3-2, 3-0 in no particular order) over the two legs will be awarded the aggregate win." Over the two legs the heat advantages were as follows - • Redcar scored 8 x 4-2s (4 in the 1st leg, and four in the 2nd leg) • Glasgow scored 1 x 5-1 and 6 x 4-2s (a 5-1 and 3 x 4-2s in the 1st leg, and 3 x 4-2s in the 2nd leg) Therefore over the two legs, Redcar had one extra heat advantage and will qualify for the 2025 BSN Series Final. The SCB wishes all the people involved in the incident at Redcar during Heat 14 a speedy recovery.
  15. You have to fancy the Pirates, I’m afraid. Not only have they wiped the floor with us twice already at Wimborne Road, but they’ve found some excellent form in recent weeks. Dreading the first leg. I know winning is the priority, but the racing at Wimborne Road is absolutely terrible. It’s boring; it doesn’t deserve to host a final and it’s a terrible, terrible advert for the sport. The sad thing is, one of the best meetings I’ve ever saw was at Wimborne Road in 2004. Creating a gate-and-go arena has been intentional. Success at the expense of entertainment.
  16. SCB confirm Redcar progress to final First leg likely to be on Saturday
  17. Agree but is it nailed on that the lesser spotted Nagel graces us with his presence Wednesday?
  18. Good to hear that there were no serious injuries. “STATEMENT – INCIDENT DURING HEAT 14 During Heat 14 of last night’s semi-final fixture against Glasgow, an incident occurred in which a bike cleared the safety fence and struck the secondary barrier beyond it. As a result, three supporters required attention from the on-site medical team, with two taken to James Cook University Hospital for precautionary checks. We are pleased to confirm that both were discharged later that evening, and all three supporters are now safely at home with no serious injuries. Redcar Speedway would like to extend our sincere thanks to the attending medical personnel from Medics UK and our dedicated volunteer staff for their prompt and professional response to the situation”
  19. Glad to hear that there were no serious injuries, and I wish those affected a speedy recovery. The SCB have now issued a statement in which the result of the tie is given on the basis of the number of heat advantages over the two legs, resulting in a Redcar win. Pity it wasn't decided on track, but it is what it is.
  20. Yes, basically to show them how to run an unviable business, how to not promote said sport and basically carry on running the sport into the ground, then to tell them any new ideas are not welcome, when the new promoter will realise it's a load of cobblers and walk away in much the same way most new promoters have done for the last 20 or so seasons, if anyone knows any different then please come on here and tell all.
  21. Today
  22. Mathias Pollestad will surely take the U24 berth at GorzĂłw? He's 21 in a month or so, so ineligible for reserve?
  23. You cant base it on results this season, they are a different team with Nagel.
