Does "White line" refer to the inside of a speedway track, or to a powdery substance? -

I agree this is a ridiculous situation, but for once British Speedway can't take any blame for it. If British Speedway strongly feel the protocol is important for a riders health & safety officer their opponents, then I'm glad they haven't decided to do what the others do to keep the rules uniform. -

I remember years ago when a collarbone or back injury seemed to be “ favourite” at the end of season to get you on the insurance for a few extra weeks after the season finished. -

I think while Klima is at reserve, r/r works well for Plymouth. But it looks like hell pretty soon be in the top 5, so they'll need guests till they find a replacement for Thomsen. The team definitely has potential to do well, just need to make sure whoever signs means they'll still have a strong reserve. Get well soon Tobias.

As long as Klindt was signed as an "injury" replacement, then Wright can replace him regardless of averages. - Today

Not sure who really does a good injury policy these days, back in the day CICA was by far the best and was used by just about every major sport but about 20 years ago they stopped taking on new customers but they continued with existing customers, I’ve still got mine, I first took it out in 1994 and still have it today, I can remember the reps coming round to the meetings trying to sell the policy’s, I’m sure there are company’s that specialise in sports injury but not sure what the benifits are like especially with speedway being a high risk for injury but I remember the insurance provided by the SCB being really poor in comparison to the CICA, something else which I always thought was the Ben fund was just for serious injury not your average leg or arm break, for all the injuries i had I never claimed off the Ben fund because I didn’t know you could, I was alway suspicious of a certain rider who always seem to get a back injury in the last couple of meetings of the season, a nothing crash but enough to get him on the insurance pay roll if you know what I mean, I did hear that the CICA were investigating but never heard any comeback -

Which won’t be cheap as that was one of the reasons why it was changed. If they can find suitable cover. -
And maybe not if you look at the very public bickering on Social Media right now which makes the sport look juvenile. This is an example of why the BSPA/BSPL have rules and penalties not withstanding their opposition to Nomad teams run by well meaning amateurs.

Rushen has been good for Poole but he will struggle against the more experienced Edwards and the track should suit PHB in my opinion. Obviously Ipswich have a weakness in the heat leader department so they need to score heavily elsewhere to compensate. Nicholls seems to have started the season on the back foot for some reason, maybe his age catching up with him I dont know. Overall I would expect a narrow home win,Fricke was in 4 of the last 5 races at Ipswich which made a big difference. -
You would think an air fence thats 100 percent fixed down with no movement in it would see riders bouncing back into the track way more than they do now. It would be interesting to see if the number of injuries have decreased or increased since introducing air fences as well.
