Nicholls for Team Manager in 2027 is something that should happen as long as he wants the job. Hurry has to go regardless, Musielak not being picked for Heat 15 may have cost Ipswich 4th Place (Not that it matters this year) but his rant on Stewart Dickson was pathetic imo, Better Team Won and it was that simple. Coleman has put his balls on the line with his choice of words in regards to 2027, He's left himself with no choice but to deliver a GP Rider @ No.1 or a certain Russian who's GP calibre along with six other riders that can compete for the title. If the Team is a let down then he'll have nowhere to hide as he's got everyone's hopes and expectations up, We'll just have to wait until the winter to see what happens on this front though.

Hopefully the speedway goes ahead.

The track seemed to come good toward the end but by that time it was over as a contest and the bore fest had taken its toll. -
Speedway for me all day as well, football doesn't even come close

Woffy needs to pack it in, for his own health reasons IMO.
-
Seriously who's going to watch a football match on TV, when you could go to speedway: to see, hear, smell, feel the shale on your face, and enjoy the banter. No contest in my mind!
-
Just read that Woffy will be out for 4 to 6 months.

I think Iām at the point with speedway now where I donāt care about home advantage. I think the best possible track prep for overtaking should be undertaken for each race. I would rather see multiple overtakes and great racing than gate and go and the home team wins. If you are a good enough team you should be able to win on whatever track if itās prepared correctly and for racing. -

Itās always baffled me the level of hubris attached to track prep. Rather than the āI know bestā mentality why not reach out and discuss things with other track men? Whilst all tracks are different things are also very much the same and the sharing of information for the good of all should be the goal. Material make up and distribution, moisture, drainage, maintenance before during and after meetings are some of the things that the track men up and down the country need to discuss together on a regular basis and if they see results at other circuits donāt be afraid to quiz those involved to gain tips and tricks. From a governing point of view, no club should be allowed to purposely prep a gateānāgo track as there is too much of that as it is. Speedway racing - fuelled by excitement. -
The main problem is the owner, he has his own ideas on what he wants to pay riders and he doesnāt compromise, that coupled with the fact he regularly falls out with riders, staff and supporters, makes it difficult and not just in putting teams together. It makes it very hard to achieve anything and frustrates his staff and fans, I never really understood why he ever went into the Premier League, he had a lot of success at Championship level but trying to run Premier League on a Championship budget is always going to be difficult with any success strictly limited.

So a postponement is on the cards if England beat Norway.
-
I think the next club announcement will probably depend on England's progress, or otherwise, in the World Cup! (Sorry Lisa that's football!!)
-
Possibly just go with guests for the rest of the season
