I'm sure they are both in the 20 odd riders that Glasgow have 100% definitely signed for next year per this forum! Seriously though, I expect both to be back at Glasgow next year. Flint has been improving year on year (ignoring the playoff at Scunthorpe, before someone else pipes up with that comment). Bomber is still box office entertainment round Ashfield. He was slightly below par at times last year, and is now under 8 with his Brit reduction, so Tigers can keep both even if the 8 point rule stays.

Rumour seems to be that Eastbourne would ride in the Premiership if a deal is reached. Given the new rules on u21 riders rule there is a good chance Vinnie Foord could ride for the Eagles and a Champ team in 2027 (and possibly an NDL team as well)

Teesside Silver Helmet
Neila replied to NC86's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
But on the other hand myself and several more are coming over from worky now it's on Saturday, would not have made Friday due to watching belle Vue on BSN 😄🔵⚪🏁 -
I’ve just read Jamie Swales heartfelt plea for people to attend this Saturdays Silver Helmet , now to be honest I like most Redcar fans thought the BSN final against Poole was the last meeting particularly as the silver helmet hasn’t ran for a couple of years now. It sounds like it’s been really difficult to get riders interested and except for Doyle , Klindt and Harris the rest of the line up sounds mediocre to be say the least , nevertheless if it had stayed on the Friday I and many others would have attended , however now it’s a Saturday I can’t due to pre- arranged plans ( and I’m gutted to miss Doyle) but if this meeting can jeopardise the club financially I would have left it. I hope people do attend and it’s a success however.

The way other are talking Either Flint or Harris could be available.🤔

Sam definitely back at Oxford, think the fans will like the upcoming rider announcement

So even you have given two different explanations. Did he leave the track if both wheels were 'on the line', or if his 'back wheel has crossed the inner part of the white line' ? It just demonstrates that there is ambiguity, and, as yet, you haven't provided any evidence from SCB of where any of your interpretations come from. I'm not intending to pick on your interpretations specifically, because many others have put their own views forward. SCB could clarify this immediately if it wanted to. I hope that the referee, both clubs and all riders are absolutely clear on the interpretation for the Premiership play off second leg, especially as Belle Vue's inner edge of the track is significantly different to a chalk line

I went to Sheffield which was the first time ive been there for about 35 years and the 3rd and 4th bends were hundreds of Aces fans which created an atmosphere that was like nothing I’ve seen at club speedway for years…it made for a memorable meeting which in many ways was like a throwback for when the actual racing itself wasn’t fantastic but the crowd and the atmosphere made it into a great night…in many ways that was what made speedway great and it was fantastic to get a night like that in this day and age

Just bumped in to Mr Doyle in town! Small world…. 😉

Also comes across as a far nicer lad when interviewed than when riding for the win at all costs team.

You need to give your head a wobble regarding Poole,it’s getting tedious.

We need a strong reserve at the right points in the season who will interchange over the year with a similar rider at No2. More experienced riders would be more suited like Connor Mountain etc. Its very difficult to get right though, remember Sedgmen! I agree we need to do better than this year. Freddy was inconsistent, Hagon was inconsistent and Mario was not so Super often leaving us without a hope of gaining a heat advantage.

Wild Cards for 2027

Hypothetically, if Artem and Emil were in the GP series, where would they each finish? I think they would have both been in the title race. -
Glasgow Tigers 2027

I believe that we have a cunning plan for our reserves. However, as Mike Tyson (I think) said 'everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth' so we'll see how that goes -
