Im looking forward to my first trip to Northside, prefer the earlier start time compared to Derwent Park, just hope the weather keeps behaving. 😉 -
He's got 3 meetings in 5 days coming up, so I expect management will be keeping a close eye on his performances...
-
And that could be the problem for Jordan, another off and he's back to square one, going to be a very difficult decision tbh

Jenkins had a mare for Oxford last night away at Poole, 2 falls, a retirement and a third place in front off his team mate so wasn't up to much, haps he's come back to early and ain't fully fit still.

My point was when you have professional company’s trying to get a speedway track open and they ask for facts figures and information for their plans and you try to contact the SCB for said information they don’t answer or reply to calls or emails, I’ve said this before, the sport should have a go to guide/vison/system/manifest or call it what you like that any would be promoter or planner can use to address the councils or company’s working on projects to open or reopen tracks but it doesn’t because it’s a shambles of a sport

He used to read this forum as he got all stroppy years ago when he was Team GB manager. Fans called for his head as we were crap for years when he was GB manager and he came on here and threw a paddy.

Let’s hope so, discovery have brought nothing new to the sport in 4 years and have in truth made the sport worse be interesting to see what BSB fans think about discovery’s involvement in their sport -
Oxford v Sheffield 14.8.25
SteveArena replied to Manifesto's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Yeah Oxford terrible side so away win for the Tigers. -
Belle Vue 2 man team so easy Ipswich win.
-
Piss easy home win,,
-
If we take all three points they could go 7 points clear, depending on Sheffield away performance at Oxford. It’ll leave Leicester with a match to play but 7 points with only 4 matches remaining and beating in mind we have Leicester and Sheffield home and away it would put us in a strong position to finish top surely. Also to add Belle Vue will only have 3 meetings left and one leg has already been a loss to Sheffield so if we win today with all three Belle Vue cannot catch us, until the semis or final at least 😂

Super Heat - Why its not right!!

All this talk of points being available to some teams and not others reminds me of the double point joker used in the 2006 final. Peterborough were successful in gaining 61% of their total points whilst Reading gained 63%. Peterborough won! It was then I realise speedway was more in line with WWE than a proper sport and entertainment was the holy grail and not providing a true sporting contest. Whilst the sport is definitely still the latter, maintaining the former has proved elusive for the UK’s top league. -
Expecting around 51-39 to them from the Foxhole.

Excellent norbold - superb post. You paint a great picture - wish I could have been there. 👍

Knock-out speedway has different mind-sets to league racing, especially after the Ford's and Middlo got them all together and agreed the track prep needed to.be different. And it was, as well as riders not worrying about their averages for 2026 team building!!😉

OXFORD: Charles Wright, Mitch McDiarmid, Rohan Tungate, Victor Palovaara, Maciej Janowski, Peter Kildemand, Luke Killeen. SHEFFIELD: Jack Holder, Anders Rowe, Josh Pickering, Nick Morris, Chris Holder, Jye Etheridge, Leon Flint. hard to call for me this one. Feel like Oxford are making a fist of it at the moment, McDiarmid and Palovaara are a lot less experienced at this level compared to Rowe and Morris I think that could be key. If Jack Holder fancies it he could go through the card if his gating boots are on. 48 - 42 away win. Jack Holder/Pickering 5-1 in heat 15 to seal it

Cause he’s sat with his feet up in some polish hotel as he doesn’t want to ride the Plymouth track.
