  1. Past hour
  2. Are you sure? Adam is obviously not only declared in a British development league team and he is not replacing the home teams #1. Does it work because of the Play Offs?
  3. Thought there was some decent racing at times 🤷🏼‍♂️ ok wasn’t a thriller, but there was some good races in there. Wasn’t as good as the Sheffield meeting in the semi, but thought it was better than both semi’s at Foxhall and the NSS. Fingers crossed Adam isn’t too beat up. Been in the wars a bit.
  4. Tom Farndon much better than Sid Farndon. Peter Craven a lot better than Brian Craven. Jack Parker better than Norman Parker. Jack Milne and Cordy Milne, now there's a poser.
  5. Huge fans of both of these two, in the BL I considered Shooey the better rider (his league form was certainly more consistent) but Kelly was almost at the end of his carrer in the very late 80's to early 90s! I always felt PK was the better of the Karlssons, but acknowledge both were damn good! Advantage Witches for sure but heat 15 is a reminder how it can go wrong, they should be taking a bigger lead to Foxhall. No room to be complacenet on Thursday. Well done the Witches reserves too - whilst Emil gave a great performance as did TomB - Dan and Jason did a complete job over their rival reserves tonight.
  6. Surprised at Hawkins going for Doyle over Brennan in 15. Tom took a while to get his set up right but once he did, he was absolutely rapid in his final two rides.
  7. Foxhall will be where the atmosphere is, not at Leicester. Heard someone as we left the stadium boast about at least 2,000… I’d be surprised if Foxhall isn’t double that.
  8. Suppose with Discovery pulling the plug it was done to appease Monster and keep the onside for sponsors. No doubt Joe had his say in that one.-
  9. Such a shame there wasn’t a victory parade for all the witches fans that made the journey over.
  10. You shouldn’t dismiss riders who are still teenagers (how do you encourage youth?) but there has to come a point when you say a rider has had enough racing experience to conclude that further improvement is unlikely.
  11. The crowd was good tonight, Ipswich turned out and Leicester filled it up, more witches flags I’d say. One thing we can all agree on, there was no N Monkeys around which was nice 😂
  12. Today
  13. Would have been a good marketing opportunity for any local undertakers who could have been bothered to attend tonight.
  14. Well it is on a cheap android so only one step up from a spud Then taken in a pitch black room from about 5 metres away off a 100 inch screen with pictures via a projected mirrored to WiFi connected signal Finally it needed to be zoomed and cropped to meet forum limitations All in all I'm happy with the results
  15. He was, but the gulf between the siblings was just as big was the point I was making. Kelvin was far better than Neville, just like Dan is far better than Joe.
  16. Neville was a much better rider than Joe or Jason Got me thinking about brothers in speedway Simon much better than Julian Wigg Scott much better that Shaun Nicholls All the Collins much better than Stephen I guess the Morans and the Karlssons were close ability wise
  17. The devil is always in the detail. They finished level on points with Ipswich but I’m pretty sure that wouldn’t have been the case had Ipswich not had a midseason wobble when they went without their two most important riders at the time at 1 and 6 (Doyle and Thompson). They lost a fair few meetings in their absence that I’m sure they wouldn’t have done otherwise. They were racking up cricket scores early doors until the injury curse struck again.
  18. Such a shame there wasn’t a victory parade for all the witches fans that made the journey over.
  19. Dan Thompson and Joe Thompson see Danny King and Jason King, or Kelvin Tatum and Neville Tatum.
  20. Interesting Kelvin says best 2 Teams in League tonight.Thought Sheffield finished Top.
  21. Surprised it's taken you so long, witches fans knew that after the spell he had at Foxhall a few years ago.
  22. 😉 All very predictable. The only chance I could see anyone having a sniff was if Ipswich again ran in to injury problems. At full strength, they’re comfortably the best side in the league simple as that. Great top two, excellent third heatleader in Brennan, and a potent reserve in Thompson. Far too strong.
  23. Leicester outclassed in the POF for a second year running. Everyone thought Ipswich were certainties to win at the start of the year and so it proved. Had Woffinden not got injured, it may have been different but I doubt it.
