  1. Past hour
  2. British Speedway official TwitterX had already posted it so surely no further action will be taken... there certainly shouldn't be!
  3. Fair enough, I will say though you did open up by saying "if" Scunny return next year... as there are already rumours surrounding many tracks in this country I was quite shocked to hear you use the word "if" regarding Scunthorpe and I bet a fair few others were too. As regards talking yourself out of a job, history suggests that it is not a good idea to question a club owners attitude during an interview, it tends not to end well for the interviewee šŸ˜‚ Fair play for your honesty though šŸ‘ Not sure of your situation with Dougy, but if he had to make a choice between riding UK and not riding UK next year would you still be working with him if he chose the latter?
  4. OK, edit that out, I just found him in the SEC3 lineup a few hours later. That's a very sloppy programming ballsup, a rare kid who's good enough to win the U19 CShip has to choose between the two.
  5. BSN is a commercial enterprise independent of BSPL/SCB and they don’t have the right let alone the power to fine anyone. The fight should have boosted their business and they will be grateful for it. I suspect the ruling bodies will see it differently as they seem to have lost sight of what constitutes entertainment.
  6. Given the way they seem to be milking this for publicity, they'll have some real front if they decide to fine anyone for it!
  7. Today
  8. For the Gladiators yes, still a centurions fixture to come next weekend
  9. Pretty sure poole would still be for sale, notwithstanding he would have still been buying into a lease problem, must surely have been a better buy??
  10. Tbf I tend to waffle and lose track but in what way have I talked my way out of a job? Pretty sure what I’ve said was correct, and I include myself in that category, the club does need to change its attitude. Imagine my job with Ryan is reasonably safe so at least I have that to fall back on.
  11. Shame, everything seems to be going well down there, good crowds and entertainment, with such a diddly league it has to be two home and away.
  12. So season over for the Gladiators -, 23rd August 2025!!!! Wow....!
  13. That's down to Plymouth not saying he's withholding his services surely.
  14. Better admission charges too I wager!? (NB. So good to see the Poole 2025 thread providing a platform for Plymouth, Worky and other 'fans')!.............😚 PS> Happy Birthday to Tobias Thomsen today - doughnuts for his supper no doubt!!šŸ˜‚
  15. I hope Vinnie can give it 100%, reports of broken bone/bones in one of his hands ?.
  16. With only 500 attending, even with a winning team, you would still not be hitting a huge 100% increase... And, even if you did, that would still be only 1000.. The bottom line is, the people of Birmingham, like so many other major cities in the UK, are just not that interested in Speedway...
  17. Why hasn't he been banned this season? Ben Cook and Francis Gusts have had 28 day bans for putting Poland before their UK teams. Has Nicolai not just done the same?
  18. WORKINGTON: 1. Troy Batchelor 2. Fraser Bowes 3. Tate Zischke 4. Jye Etheridge 5. Antti Vuolas 6. Jacob Hook 7. Vinnie Foord GLASGOW: 1. Chris Harris 2. Jason Edwards 3. Dan Thompson 4. Leon Flint 5. Kyle Howarth 6. Freddy Hodder 7. Stene Pijper Worky reserves SHOULD score well today, but Glasgow's top 5 is very strong, 50-40 away win
  19. Charlie Wright did cruise round the circuit after the incident and was approaching Jake, Im sure to check he was OK and apologise, but Jake pulled Charlie of the bike which caused the fracas, but it all ended well with kisses at the pits.
  20. Glad to see another point of view. If you watch closely as Wright crosses the finish line he hits the rut in gate 4 which puts him right into the path of Jake, he had a split second to sort it out and got it wrong , don’t think it was deliberate but he could have turned straight around on track and apologised but it made for great entertainment anyway. All loved up again afterwards and felt sorry for Jake as the blown engine didn’t help his mood .
  21. Thats no mechanic…..thats the LEGEND that is Ben Murray !
  22. This Glasgow side with Nagels will walk the league. Shame he misses so many meetings , but thats par for the course these days with riders. Riders just ride here there and everywhere when it suits them. After spending some time in the doldrums after the 2011 league title win, its great to see Glasgow back up near the top the last few years though. Scotlands finest.
