The Fords 'will be dipping into their pockets' to pay for the new air fence! As for Tobias, it is suggested that his Danish club will be in their top league next year so Wednesday fixtures!!! Thats why Plymouth or Glasgow might be better options for him.......?!đ

Prediction of 2025 Championship league
Sir Sidney replied to Bitza's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Per the Regulations CHAPTER 11 â PREMIERSHIP & CHAMPIONSHIP LEAGUES 011.1 OFFICIAL COMPETITIONS Premiership and Championship League Teams will compete in the: - Premiership League Premiership Knock Out Cup Championship League Championship Knock Out Cup Championship BSN Series 011.1.1 Premiership & Championship Leagues Premiership League, teams will meet on 4 occasions, 2 at home and 2 away. Championship League teams will meet on 2 occasions, 1 home and 1 away. Play Offs will involve the top 4 teams in the final League Table in a series of home and away ties on a knockout basis. 1 st placed team v 4th placed team 2 nd placed team v 3rd placed team The highest placed team will have first choice of the home or away leg (in both semi-finals and final). If at the completion of all league fixtures 2 teams are tied on league points the Points Difference between Points For and Points Against will be calculated to determine the hierarchical order. Play off meetings will be determined by aggregate heat points scored in the home and away meetings. In the event of a tie on aggregate with the semi or final, the outcome will be determined by the Super Heat format. The winners of the semi finals on aggregate will contest a 2 legged final home and away with the aggregate winner being crowned the League Champions. A rider may only guest for one team in any 2 legged tie (home and away). -
And then the powers that be tried to kick them out again.
-
I don't see how they could have done that, couldn't use Cairns as a guest for Ritchings, if Ritchings was available right? Potentially could have left Ritchings in for another month, then signed Cairns when they only had 5 league meetings left?

Workington Comets v Glasgow Tigers 23/08/2025 3pm.

Perhaps FIM Europe view this as a Mickey mouse fixture for Glasgow, win or lose Glasgow will still be in the play-offs, why should Nagel give up individual glory for a "qualifying" league match? -

As usual itâs difficult for the average fan to know the ârules, people often ask me because they know Iâve been going to speedway for over 50 years and most of the time my answer is,I havenât got a clue!!Maybe someone could help me out with this question?I believe in the play-offs you canât use a guest from the other semi finalists? Does that also apply for the BSN trophy and the KO Cup?I ask because of Redcarâs situation of qualifying for all 3 semifinals and needing to get guestâs for Erik Riss. -
If they can land Beau Bailey and they can avoid putting day one pressure on him , they would certainly have an awesome signing on their hands, he's an out and out racer who looks like he has a massive future ahead of him.
-
Would Belle Vue prefer to Face Ipswich in the semi, or one of either Leicester or Sheffield? Because if theyâd rather avoid another trip to Foxhall and hope they get dumped out in the semi, then itâs best to have an â off dayâ here and let Sheffield win to help them finish top.

The win here means if Sheffield fail to beat Belle Vue at the NSS, weâll finish top if we beat Sheffield at home, even losing the away leg AND the bonus to Sheffield. -

Thompson had five rides, and when the Witches were comfortable he ran a couple of lasts - I wonder if they miscalculated that would be sufficient? He could have easily run another last in Heat 15 just to be sure. Leicester kept Masters just below Becker with some tactical non-scoring. -
Second bank holiday fixture for me, it's like the Dudley-Wolves days of my youth only much more travelling and less niggle on the terraces! Lions to win by 10 on the final Speedway to ever be raced in the West Midlands âšď¸
-
And we all know who is to blame for that. They were quite happy in the NDL only to be forced up by the powers that be.
-
Well this will be the first of two fixtures for me on Monday, weather forecast is good at the moment, Leon Flint to clean up at reserve but Aces top 4 get them enough points to creep over 45?

LisaColette replied to Bitza's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I think so. I haven't seen anything from Poole or Glasgow in the press about finishing top so they can choose. -
Taites currently rolling average is around 5.88! With regards to the Fords I donât think they will âdip in their pocketsâ easy option would be to keep Tobias which wouldnât be a good move.
-
Didnât Workington flourish at NDL level only in 2023? Itâs since they moved up that itâs been a problem.
-
If this is true, then Workington wonât have a speedway team at any level for much longer. Apart from the usual die hard like myself, a lot of people wouldnât watch national league racing.
-
Tate Z would be 1 point to high on points available if it is Lawson/Rowe/Zach Cook/Cairns/Bailey (4) and Rushden. I calculate 5.88 left. If that's the case cant see anything that excites at that kind of level based on latest GSA's. Glasgow have shown there are exciting Overseas youngsters out there on a 5 and Nagel has shown that and could well be their title winner. It's whether the Ford's want to dip in their pockets to help finance one of the many good ones who would be interested.

Edwards very good guest for Glasgow , fitness of Vinnie is still to be decided. Makes Glasgow a bit stronger in my view , going to be tough for the Comet's, we need our gating gloves on and to be on it from the start , the part few weeks the Comets have been slow to get dialled in to the track . -
That will never happen!
