  1. Past hour
  2. Congrats to Mikkel Andersen. I haven’t watched it yet but i understand it was a cracking meeting.
  3. Good crowed at Sheffield , track was prepared for racing and we had some good heats. But were was the grader once the dirt moved out we got the one line follow the leader racing' Come on track staff drag the dirt back off the fence people dont pay to see riders following each other two foot rom the fence. More racing lines are needed first few races were good both inside and outside being used. Sheffield used to be a great racetrack and still should be if they pull the dirt back more often.
  4. Very much a gating contest and one our bottom end have been successful at in the not too distant past. Norick has fairly recently posted scores of Paid 9 & 2 Paid 8’s but he was making the all important start, so crucial at Foxhall. Similarly Jake 2 Paid 6’s and Zach Paid 13 & Paid 10, both riders wearing their gating gloves on those occasions. I’m not overly optimistic of an Aces win nor an exciting night’s actions as the gate’n’go leagues second best gaters take on the perennial worst of the bunch. All those “it’s only 15 minutes of entertainment” will be having kittens as this one will be down to less than 2 minutes.
  5. Zach lodges at Middlo's, as does his brother still, and they are all in their own WhatsApp group. Unfortunately it seems not all the riders like the same track prep and once in gets in your head it can affect your performances and your set-ups- especially if riders are carrying niggling injuries as well.
  6. No I haven't... he's never there when I go to get one!
  7. Today
  8. Have you still not got that autograph?! I think he should throw in a key ring also as you are totally obsessed with him!
  9. Gonna be only 2/3 clubs in the premiership next year if what I'm hearing is correct rest are struggling £££
  10. Fair decision Let’s see how it develops 🤔 Fair decision Let’s see how it progresses 🤔
  11. SCB STATEMENT: LUKE BECKER Monday August 11, 2025 The Speedway Control Bureau are aware that Luke Becker made his comeback from a serious back injury for his Polish League Club Ostrow on Saturday 9th August scoring 9 points from 6 rides. After such a serious injury and returning to racing so soon it was no surprise that Mr Becker following his return is suffering from the effects from racing and has now been withdrawn from racing for a further 5 days. The SCB have received medical documentation. Leicester have been granted a facility for their fixture versus Oxford on Monday 11th August, however if Mr Becker competes again prior to the next Leicester fixture he would be expected to return to the Leicester Team

  13. Well enjoyable meeting for in some ways - the racing was fairly close in a few heats and there was one or two really good overtaking moves, heat 5 in particular was very good. Aces fell away due to lack of support for the top 3 - Blodorn having a mare right now! Flint and Rowe certainly make the Tigers really strong at home as they back up the heatleaders so well, Morris seems to have picked up well after his layoff also.
  14. Given that these days riders often peak in their 30s and that 3 or 4 years ago the concensus seemed to be that Brady Kurtz had 'reached his level' I think that is a brave statement.(
  15. OK so it's ultimately the riders who have to go out and perform I get that, but surely Middleditch has to shoulder some responsibility for how the team "go" too. From the outside Speedway seems set up as "all turn up on the night and see how it goes". When do riders get to practice, trial set ups/equipment, and do team managers do more than decide who rides when, or do they help people manage as well. IMO a bit of team managing could go a long way towards sorting individual riders issues and to delivering better team performances.
  16. I'm sure he'll be fit enough to miss Plymouth's next home fixture...
