  1. Past hour
  2. Pawelczak looks electric from the tapes & is quick, will see what happens when he's in traffic.
  3. Who can take RR for Fajfer? From entry to bend 3 it looked very tight on turn 2a few times in heat 3
  4. Suppose this year just adds fuel to the playoffs/ no playoffs argument. Think what a great season long campaign it would have been without the playoffs with no 'meaningless' fixtures, sure the crowds for the last few meetings of the top 3 would have nearly outweighed the loss of the playoffs? Would have definitely solved the 'argument' of the last few pages.
  5. Should be a close one this, gorzow should have the strength at the top end but Bydgoszcz have everything to gain and home track advantage but lack that top quality
  6. Small delay due to marking of the tyres, only a few mins. Add - This is due to no issues after the race and all marked and approved without any further testing after the meeting, the commentators said of how strange this is to only do this now when the meeting should start.
  7. Bydgoszcz deffo win home advantage in this one, this track is very unique. Stal tried to find another track similar for practise this week but couldn’t find one.
  8. From Sportwoefakty: Let us remind you that the Gorzów team will today use a replacement player for the injured Oskar Fajfer.
  9. The man who rivals Harris for wildcards, I really hope not.
  10. Tend to agree with Peter Schroeck in SS this week.
  11. The Saudi model is to throw money at already thriving sports too. The sport here could thrive again but it will take a long time, a lot of hard work and huge amounts of patience/faith from existing fans. The gulf between the 'world class' and top domestic riders is ever widening. Those top domestic riders are also not going to be with us forever (Nicholls, Harris, King, Lawson etc.). The next generations coming through aren't up to their standard in the main. That's part of why those older names are still the top domestic riders in 2025. Brexit has made it harder to get competitive riders from overseas into the country also. Despite it not being a popular solution, the way to make meetings more entertaining is to cut the head off the snake and go without the big names. Riders of a lower standard are more plentiful (and cheaper). The more level the playing field in terms of rider ability the more competitive and entertaining the racing should be (in theory, massive asterisk against that point). That's a hard sell to most existing Premiership fans of course, especially when they'll be asked to pay just as much, if not more to get into meetings. Stadium rent will still need paying at the end of the day and won't decrease because the standard of riders has. The kicker being the standard of riders outside of the world class ones is already declining year on year and ageing to boot. So as a governing body own it rather than hoping nobody notices. Transparency has to be key. Things being stripped back and rebuilding from sturdier foundations is needed. Tell the fans that is what is happening and why. If you still want a sport to watch in five, ten years then this needs to be done now. People will be more understanding and supportive if kept in the loop.
  12. Today
  13. Sometimes it can be easier said than done.Like I say talk is cheap.
  14. No Erik: https://ligue-nationale-speedway.fr/match/lns-moutl-2025-marmande?fbclid=IwY2xjawNGCa9leHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETA2ZUp1dFEzdThINERKa2VWAR6Q9Y81mEobKOvIdbVwpOrGqJsBzqyPJvU2LC5qjj8JpJxf2gEGrPTJTmCHcQ_aem_Jj8I4hfROowd7Sy432029Q
  15. Even the Oxford guy is a better manager than Martin. In fact when I managed our under 15's football team I would fancied myself to be better than Martin.
  16. Villads turned up limping with his ankle and shoulder both strapped up and had to take the strapping off his ankle so he could not get his boot on , and after his crash in ht one he hurt his wrist and I could not believe he was going to go out for his second ride but he did. He was struggling to hold on to the bike Villads is a tough kid but he had to pull out of his meeting in Germany next day to be fit for the SON
  17. See Erik was down to ride in a meeting at marmande in France alongside Jason Edward’s anyone know how he got on?
