We also have Workington away, so not necessarily 2 wins against Edinburgh, you need to win at Oxford tomorrow, which I think that you will,
-
Tend to disagree. Poole can still top the league if they win. That would force Glasgow into two must wins against Edinburgh. Only Zack and the reserves can cover the RR unless a tactical is used for one. I would have recruited Jake Milford on this occasion.

Very much agree with that. Its the box office where the queues occur, get half of those people buying in advance and it would make a massive difference. - Today

Yes, announcer out of order, not there to give personal views, that kind of s***housery should work for Poole -
Just wait for Peter Schroeck to try and book him as a guest.

That’s how Peter Schroeck already does it.

Here's how I remember him https://classicspeedwaymemories.webador.co.uk/august-2025/the-other-bernie

this is my take on the Tungate saga....practice start before his first heat the bike doesn't sound right, shakes his head towards his mechanic, mechanic then touches the bike and taps Tungate on the back as if good to go, the 2 minutes was on anyway, so couldn't of done a lot else, tapes go up and bike gets no further than the second bend and gives up..Obviously words in the pits, misses his second programmed ride, next ride he finishes third but the bike looked like it all but died going over the finishing line, doesn't ride again. Now it could be several things, both bikes died on the night or he doesn't want ride for what ever reason. What ever the reason it didn't look good for Oxford, Speedway or Tungate himself. Hopefully the truth will come out and not just a pointless press release from the club or rider. -

Take a guess? If there was any truth in it, there would have been a thread ‘Oxford riders not being paid’ before, and we wouldn’t conveniently be hearing this for the first time a few mins after a rider has a tantrum. -

Or any sunshine then it requires a break in match as well, in both Ipswich matches the start has been delayed due to the club not getting the fans through the turnstiles, I'd suggest to have tickets online to alleviate that issues or at least help the situation. -

Where the track required extensive work due to the downpour in the afternoon. If it was a normal evening it would’ve been done and dusted a lot earlier… -

You get the odd late finish but generally its over and done with by 9:30 at Lynn nowadays. If people cant be out later than that as a rule then that's on them not speedway clubs. Those people obviously don't go to midweek football matches, concerts, evening cinema showings or anything else that might deprive them of their cocoa. -
Would agree.Nagel has had a lot more experience than Mcdiarmid though.
-
He’s been a pretty loyal servant to Lynn the last 4 years (with a little bit of time spent with Oxford in 2024).

they were going at it pretty hard, when he realized toby weren't giving way he did stop. Off that 4th bend. i didn't see a problem with it. -
Maybe a ban won't make much difference in some situations, but why should the rider suffer if they're the ones not being paid? What if Tungate had the opportunity of another team place and couldn't take it up because he was banned for withholding his services? Who knows what the real truth is here. Let's face it, Tungate is hardly Mr. Reliable at the best of times, but everything always seems so focused on the riders. If it's a crap track, riders are 'whining', if they're not getting paid they should refuse to turn up, etc. Maybe it's time they started properly investigating these things and punishing the club if they're to blame. It's not as if a points deduction would bother Oxford this season, but it might send some sort of message.

I watched last night on LionsTV, excellent coverage as ever. But wished I made the effort to get to Leicester. These are the best two balanced teams in the league and it would make a great final. However Ipswich fans saying Leicester would win over two legs appear not to have noticed they picked up the bonus point and they are let to drop a BP this season.

It was the Leicester fixture that was 9-55 finish not last week my mistake. It's definitely not a myth. There is some one on here that dosen't go to Lynn anymore because of the late finishes. Sorry to wake you. -

It depends on the limit and how many teams compete (ie who may be freed up) but I'd be quite happy to seen them all back, its a team I've enjoyed watching this year. You just feel it needs somebody to nail down the number one spot so that everyone rides on the position they should, the current 1-7 has a really good balance. Niels has been a different rider at 2 for example compared to his earlier struggles. -
I'm basing it off current form only, Other than last night you're going back to meetings that took place a couple / few months ago when it comes to the BP statement. Currenly state of play would show that Leicester are a side that's been on a very good run of form for a while now and a team who've already got silverware to show for it and they've still got improvement in the side to come once Becker settles back in. Where's Ipswich aren't on the same form as they were at the start of the season and improvements are needed from various riders whilst also hoping that Jenkins can redescover his pre-injury form once he returns in place of Edwards.
