  1. Past hour
  2. Hes been fine at home actually, now starting to perform alot better.
  3. A very good meeting watched by a smaller crowd than normal. Could have gone either way after the ht11 break. I thought this would be the meeting our reserves would really fire. It wasn't but we need then to start shortly with the business end coming soon. Anyway, it was nice to have a July meeting.
  4. Just shows if you win you see a great meeting, where last week when you were beat by poor worky you looked for any excuse 🤔
  5. Shout out to the Plymouth fans who attended tonight. It was great to see their colours and flags. They also gave their team great backing throughout.
  6. The blokes a knob. He was great for Kings Lynn at Ipswich last night. It’s that damn rutty track at Poole is the problem.
  7. Terrible performance again from Lewis Kerr. I expect the prat from Poole to be calling for his sacking again tonight.
  8. 3 heat advantages at home not great, now the playoffs are most likely out of the window maybe time to massage some averages ready for next season 🤭
  9. Scunny beaten by the better side, no doubt about it.... Fair play to Poole, some awesome racing, ran out worthy victors. Changes needed for Scunny next year, we can't go on with a team of second strings... it's demoralising.
  10. Yeah. Thanks for the track grades Mr Godfrey. Played straight into Pirate hands.😜
  11. Today
  12. Frustrating night for the Gladiators where it all got away from them in the first 5 heats. Nicholls rusty and short of a bit of confidence, he said so himself post meeting early on but those last three rides behind Nicolai he looked better. That Heat 15 ride against Paco was superb. He'll come on plenty for that tonight and you'd like to think he'll be a different rider again on Wednesday. Fair play to the Monarchs. Outclassed Plymouth in the first half of the meeting. Gladiators kept fighting but were swimming against the tide. Little room for error now for the rest of the season for the playoff hopes. Looking forward to travelling to Oxford on Wednesday to get behind the team
  13. Classic Scott Nicholls to finish off the meeting with and probably the best I've ever seen Paco ride! 3 x 5-1's from Klindt & Nicholls bodes well for the Glads.
  14. I agree there's a risk, but Redcar's reserves will only get 9 rides between them, using r/r they'd get 10 or 11 (depending if Mulford took a r/r outing before dropping out). While I'd recommend taking a number 8, Redcar wouldn't have needed to use him.
  15. Not even close to ‘first corner bunching’ so there’s no way all four back was an option. Bowtell was out of control hence Loftus running into him. Correct decision.
  16. Wooohooo! Pirates win. Phenomenal racing tonight at Scunthorpe. Best racetrack in the league by the country mile. Cooler travelling today so the boys were not knackered. Heat 13 was sublime with Lawson. Heat 14 was amazing with Cook. Commentator said the second half of tonight’s meeting was the best he had ever seen at the track. Can believe it, that was sensational racing.
  17. Finally Gorzow putting in a decent performance albeit against a depleted team.
  18. I'll give you 2... All 4 back or exclude Loftus for running into the back of Bowtell
  19. Interesting that Glasgow’s no.8 tonight is in Redcars ( Middlesbrough ) NDL side.
  20. Palm-Toft is going through the motions. Frustrating to say the least.
  21. And that's why you don't use r/r unless prepared to bring a no8 with you, someone could get injured or be riding with an injury where they need to withdraw (or ill in this case.)
  22. They don’t want another months rent, unless a rain off where they will have too
