  2. The re-arranged Swedish final next Monday is available to watch on PPV from ESS play for 199kr- which is around £15.
  3. After two tough away matches the Comets are back home to face the Oxford Cheetahs who have a high scoring heat leader in Sam Masters and two very good reserve riders in Mitch McDiarmid and Luke Killeen. Hopefully the Comets will be back to full strength after injuries to Jye Etheridge and Vinnie Foord.
  4. Must admit, don't think Poole are favourites this year, has to be Glasgow for me, but never right Poole off, we all know who they are come the playoffs. On the subject of being quiet, don't think we will hear much from you, after the Glasgow match tomorrow night
  5. At 26 and 28 and with the quality they have, they should be more than capable of team riding if they want to.
  6. The usual suspects are quite today. Maybe the penny has dropped and they now know pilots are not as good as they think, the other play off teams must be licking their lips looking forward to meeting Poole over 2 legs
  7. I'd say 7+2 from 4 rides, from a 4 point rider pretty decent myself. I'd also say 6+1 from 4 rides from Cairns, who is just 16 was decent as well. Not sure i would of felt the need to mention his poor gating in his last ride. Just my opinion of course.
  8. I don't think that has anything to do with it. It is more likely that Peter Schroek is the Oxford TM!
  9. Leon helping Redcar win could come back to haunt Tigers though .
  10. Poole win at home. Instead of being happy with that or congratulating Plymouth on keeping it tight. NO.... the Poole fans slag off their own riders, the track and everyone else because Plymouth actually made a match of it.. HOW DARE THEY. I know it's Pooles God given right to win by a mile every meeting, but a little humility wouldn't go a miss. Still Poole "big fish, little pond" !
  11. Not really a mental block more that they just need to gate!

  15. very true, but dan also probably didnt know what the outcome means, i mean he did like 3 laps of wheelies after heat 15 then did doughnuts before being dragged back to the pits, hahaha
  16. id say that is a fair assesment which does get mentioned on the aces terraces

  18. Obviously I don't see Bewley as often as BV fans do, but I have always felt this is the area where he is lacking. Fantastic individual rider, but rarely seems to give any assistance to his riding partner. Before I am accused of bias, I will say that I have the same criticism of Jack Holder, although it is an area where he seems to be improving. By comparison, the way we saw Tai working with the lower order riders when he returned to Sheffield in 2023 was a different level. Constantly looking for them, letting them past and then giving protection. Chris Holder also very good at this, so maybe it is something that comes with age.
  19. I would suggest the majority of the riders are happy with it slick and don’t want much water on it during the meeting.
