  1. Past hour
  2. Unfortunately with there being no mods, users can post what they want now and simply get away with it, which is just one reason why so many former users have stopped using the Forum and also very sad (a bit like the user you have quoted). So do I.
  3. Confirmed Kennett guests at Scunthorpe and Harrison(Scunthorpe) guests at Worky
  4. And maybe she has a very valid point.
  5. Today
  6. Cook, Barker, Bewley, no doubt all will be revealed after the semi final at the weekend.
  7. After a few weeks of no track action at the GT Tyres arena the Comets are in action against the highly fancied Poole Pirates team. The Workington riders whilst having no team action have been busy riding for their respective Premiership sides (Batch, Tate and Drew) and also guesting for other Championship teams. Max and Vinnie have also been guesting a few times for championship teams so hopefully the guys will be race ready. The Poole team are packed with heavy hitters including the formidable pairing of Rushen and Cairns, while the heat leaders include Lawson , Cook and Kerr! The weather at the weekend is forecast to be a bit cooler than of late which should be better for the racing surface. ** Remember it is back to the 6pm start time**
  8. Just another example of how farcical this sport has become.
  9. Five guests for the Young Stars https://www.edinburghmonarchs.co.uk/news-centre/article/2026-07-14/shanes-back-for-unbeaten-academy
  10. I read recently there's been some pretty heavy track work happen at Riga recently. Apparently they've widened the turns and added more banking. A good move if you ask me - I've always rated Riga as one of the weaker tracks in the calender. Hopefully it makes the racing better.
  11. Overall but he has been a bit up and down in both leagues.
  12. I do agree with you as it annoys me that my team Oxford have rarely ran the original 1 to 7 that was announced for the last 2 seasons. My interest as definitely waned due to knowing we are not going to be competitive. Maybe the championship needs a rule that a team can only have one rider riding in Polands top flight that is at an under 21. Then work the fixtures so these riders can turn up on a Friday at the away tracks. It’s been ridiculous how many away meetings Mitch has missed but a lot of that is down to poor fixture planning. It would be a major shame if British youngsters like Cairns,Rushen wouldn’t be riding in the Championship because they wouldn’t be able to make every meeting because they are progressing internationally in our sport.
  13. I've given up, posted not long ago about how I haven't attended any meetings this year. Shame and sad. Reason one is money, I'm saving and losing speedway hasn't bothered me too much in the slightest, I only miss the chit chat. Speedway is now expensive to attend. Reason two is the lack of importance, Its sad that I don't care if my team wins the cup this year. I honestly couldn't give a monkeys about it. I could probably put another dozen reasons why I've given up but all of it has been mentioned previously. Until they implement real change I'm not going back. What does the change look like? I'm not sure but I want them to TRY something new at least. Its still the same boring usual suspects in the play offs with the same teams on crap tracks followed by tractor racing. God I could rant on but you don't need to read it. Oh and for those supporters still claiming the premiership is necessary, just look at your attendances, how many clubs are closing or losing money and if the sport is better off with it. I personally have completely given up with it. The premiership DOESNT WORK.
  14. Would be annoying if they went to a rave instead of speedway.😀
  15. I don't think R/R weakens Leicester at home, as the reserves have been going really well there... I think the Lions should have enough to get the win by 8-10 points
  16. I personally don't think that any rider who is going to be absent for a certain percentage of meetings in a season should be permitted to ride in a league whoever they are. Injury can't be helped but one of the things which gets up people's noses more than anything IMO is facilities for riders who are raving elsewhere and not for the team they signed for.
  17. i just remembered a few years ago Kings Lynn were advertising this role - https://www.kingslynn-speedway.com/news.php?extend.30563 in the end i believe Chapmans daughter was the one they selected. 😁
  18. Not in the Champ perhaps but he's been at the level you'd expect in the Prem.
  19. That would be a vast improvement. Likely with the havvy connection.
  20. Problem with McDairmid he is riding in the top flight in Poland and is also in the SGP2 meetings so means he will miss loads of Friday’s. With so many championship teams running on a Friday a rider like that is unfortunate going to miss lots of meetings. Next year, Cairns and Rushen will probably have the same issue so would you also not sign them?
