Surprised it's not, but nope -
As has been said, 1st meets 4th, second v third. (Unless commercial reasons come in to play 🙄). Nobody picks anybody anymore. Pretty sure we’ll finish top. Can afford defeats at Sheffield and Leicester and still finish top by winning our remaining home fixtures. But as we know, that counts for nothing. Barring an 18/20 point defeat at Leicester in our upcoming fixture, we’d have taken the aggregate bonus in both rounds of fixtures against them this year. But again, that counts for nothing and the only two legged affair that counts is next month in the play offs. If we can get there injury free, I remain confident we’ll see the job through.

. there is no picking FFS, how many times do people need telling 1st v 4th 2nd v 3rd although they were the rules last year also

If Poole click they could grab a good lead, but no room for passengers. It could all hinge on which Hagon turns up. Kerrs been steadily improving all season but consistent bike issues and horrid luck(Plymouth) have held him back. if Lawson has the beating of Masters and one of Zach and Kerr go well Poole might get to 50 -
I reckon the best pass Monday night was Heat 5, when Kurtz drove off the inside of bend 4 to pass both Pickering and Morris. Not close-your-eyes-wall-of-death bravery, but well-calculated intelligent riding.

Whoever finishes top will pick BV because they're terrible away from the NSS. Ipswich v Leicester Final imo with Ipswich winning a close one on aggregate.
-
for the best interest of british speedway, belle vue will face sheffield and ipswich leicester, to leave a belle vue and leicester final again with belle vue winning easily again, all in the best interest of british speedway

Is this on BSN? -
I predicted 8 points for the bottom four at Sheffield but over estimated their capabilty level on a track that you needed to ride out wide in the dirt to have any chance.. Ipswich is much less intimidating and daunting, so will go again with eight points from them.. Cook 4, Blodorn 3, Zischke/Mulford 1 between them...(whoever gets third in heat two).. The usual thirty from the top three off 15 rides, so 52 - 38...

Yes gets my vote too, has had a very good season overall, riders always seem to come back too soon after injuries so it takes them longer to get back to full fitness. -

Dudley Wood was built on after the developers appealed against the Council decision to reject development and won, Monmore is still there the owners Ladbrokes (Entain) no longer want Speedway at the venue due to Speedway (shale) allegedly causing injuries to some dogs. -
Why is that exactly? The team that finishes top “deserve it” and that won’t be Leicester.

I think 7 days is too harsh especially for a first offence, maybe a 1 match ban or 3 day ban and then increase for each illness in the season just to stop any abuse. I think earlier in the season Howarth rode unwell to avoid the ban and if I remember right did end up injured. -
Sheffield won't finish top so have no choice. Ipswich will 100% pick Belle Vue

Sad to see yet another club closedown, this time extinguishing all signs of speedway in the West Midlands, which once boasted 4 clubs (CH, COV, Wolves and BM) Like London and the South East speedway is finished for good. What has become of Dudley Wood and Wolves old stadia ? We all know the never ending saga of Brandon... but have these other stadia succumbed to housing developments ? -

Clearly a not fully fit Barker showed great determination. The gust of the evening astounded everyone including me...... Lewis Kerr once again showed his inconsistency perfectly tonight. Given another opportunity he'll probably score 0 at Saddlebow Road 🙂 Sadly another British rider who seems to have suffered severe injury and never quite fulfilled his potential. Another who I regularly saw as a very young lad at Lakeside juniors was Sammy Hagon. Showed great promise in junior race always bringing up the rear against the likes of Jason Edwards, but despite an awful lot of track time never settled at Poole and finds himself struggling in the upper tier at reserve. -
Last year when riders raced in Poland while being injured in Britain, the wording was after 28 days they have to return or be replaced, clubs wouldn't get a second 28 day facility. Assuming that's the case this season, if Becker didn't return, Leicester would only be able to use a 75% guest, as they can't replace him.

I think it will be a walk in the park. Kurtz won't gate, Zach can be good at Foxhall but is out of form. 54-36.

I think the rule was brought in to stop riders feeling "ill" every time they were due at Exeter, then making a quick recovery for their next match. A 7 day suspension stops this happening. But it also means riders who are genuinely ill, having to miss more meetings than necessary, which means more guests (when they should be trying to limit them). Could also mean a rider races when not well to avoid a suspension, potentially causing an accident if he's not strong enough to control the bike. I would get rid of the rule, maybe of it happens multiple times in a season, can look into it, but anyone can be sick one day & off work, but back the next. Why can't Speedway riders? Better make a comment on the match. Glasgow to win on aggregate. -
