  1. Past hour
  2. Although plausible, if Leicester for one did join the Championship & presuming they would need to race on nights other than Monday & Thursday even just for away meetings, they would have to find replacements for Fricke, Douglas & Becker and hope that Howarth, Masters, Kemp & Thompson agree to give up there plans to race for other championship clubs in favour of the Lions - which if of course they did would put other clubs plans in disarray. Throw in , Ipswich, Kings Lynn, Belle Vue & Sheffield thing to do likewise and we are left with complete & utter carnage for 2026. This is why nothing like one league will work in the UK unless there is universal agreement by the promoters to run one with no more the eight or nine clubs and the others running junior and individual meetings.
  3. yes and we all know its the promotors' who have caused this problem, and they are going to struggle to fix it, i be leave its happening in other sports too, moto x, grass track, rugby, the younger generation arnt interested that much in physical sports these days.
  4. TTT this and almost all your other posts assume that prem Clubs have some cards to play, they really don't, they're almost in a beggers can't be choosers position. If belle vue/ipswich owners/promoters decide they'd rather sell then so be it
  5. Harrison is already on different level than Hodder.IMO Cannot see Hodder improving over Luke ps u/21 Final at Glasgow ,Luke 12 pts,Freddie 4
  6. I have read it is the 6th... The Epiphany.... If so... How very apt....
  7. I didn't want to confuse people 😄
  8. I like the way you clarified the year...
  9. Today
  10. Who does One Big League benefit though? Riders don't want it, PREM Clubs don't want it and CHAMP Clubs will have to stump up extra cash as rider demands will be Double than what CHAMP Clubs are currently paying.
  11. I wouldn't be to sure about that, he may not be in there plans.
  12. If he was interested in coming back I would have him over PK simply because he could be a Top man in Championship.PK certainly was a good Signing though pity we could not have them both.
  13. Good team but Kyle surely back at Glasgow
  14. I don't think Barker will have much choice...
  15. Barker will never leave Plymouth, and Voulas is absolutely dreadful round Shielfield no thank you.
  16. 1. P. Kildermand 8.05 2. D. Hume 5.10 (13.15) 3. N. Morris 6.86 (20.01) 4. B. Barker 6.12 (would mean total = 39.84) 5. A. Vuolas 6.87 (26.88) 6. S. Lambert 4.60 (31.48) 7. D. Wood 2.24 (33.72)
  17. exactly which is why no one would take it seriously. I think its time to admit the illusion of a top league has failed and to cut their cloth accordingly and drop to one big league with less riders per team.
  18. 1. J. Jeppesen 8.20 2. J. Grahn 5.3 (13.5) 3. T. Zischke 5.76 (19.26) 4. F. Gusts 5.49 (24.75) 5. K. Howarth 7.91 (32.66) 6. V. Foord 3.68 (36.34) 7. S. Hagon 3.48 (39.82)
  19. Got to be Jye for me. After a successful season away from being a Bandit I’m sure hes now ready to come back and pick up where he left off last time. Could be the difference between 3rd or 4th bottom getting a hall of famer like him back.
  20. What should happen instead of praying on long shots like Northampton and Wolverhampton acutally coming off. Belle Vue, Ipswich, King's Lynn and Leicester bosses should all apply maximum pressure by threatening to sell up along with Sheffield unless a PREM takes place with 6 or more Teams. Everyone knows British Speedway can't run the risk of losing 5 Clubs all in one go so it'll force the hand and the only option they'll be left with is to make some very unpopular decisions that won't go down well with certain CHAMP Clubs.
  21. Yes, I know what you're saying but Glasgow v Edinburgh is a local derby where away fans will travel in numbers to create that "special" atmosphere. I probably watched the match you're referring to on BSN and it certainly was a cracker. I only used BV v KL as an example. A Monday night meeting and I can't see KL bringing many fans (if any) to either Match 1, 2 or 3 plus the KO Cup if they were drawn together! I'm basically crying out for some variation and I personally don't care what standard of riders we have as long as they are evenly matched with close racing.
  22. I have had a great time at Peterborough Speedway over the years. I used to travel down from Sunderland. I wish you all the very best in your efforts. Good Luck.
  23. Looks like you have to buy the Speedway Star these days to get any info
  24. Both parties can share blame on that front I think, Borke was never fit, was never going to be fit and was rightly replaced. But he should never have been signed and/or he shouldn’t have accepted, you can look at it either way. Given that it sounds like it was a pretty messy breakup though I would be astounded if he was signed again and personally I’d much rather take a punt on someone new.
