  1. Past hour
  2. Reports that in 2026 the Extraleague will be using significantly harder tyres supplied by the clubs.
  3. I was saying this to others last night. It’s a shame that fixture conflicts have prevented us from seeing him so far. As much as he could bite us in arse, we all want to watch the top young prospects in person. In regards to last night, the track was top notch. And the huge pile of shale in the car park can only be a positive of things to come too. In regards of some of the decisions, Dayle came down twice, and yeah there was contact, but he was behind both times. Glasgow are potentially lucky to get away with all 4 back both times. With Leon & Zach, it could’ve gone either way. If Leon is right and Cookie took his leg away with his dirt deflector, than Zach was in front. Either way, someone was going to be annoyed.
  4. Even with nagel poole would imo get 39 Lawson 13/14 alone
  5. Yeah good shout marra. Don't forget also Peter Collins and Alan Wilkinson at Belle Vue and Rochdale.....so yep doubling up was there but I think not liked by the fans. And that remains as an awfully unpopular speedway feature nowadays.
  6. Please note Workington Town are also at home on Sunday, kick off 3 p.m...................It's an 80th Birthday celebration match for Town (1945-2025) and they are drumming up support for this special occasion. UTT and UTC....love them both.
  7. Today
  8. I think we should be ok whether Nagel is there or not but obviously easier if he was not there. We will definitely need Lewi to sort his machinery, can't believe it, about time he got it sorted, nobody has as many issues as he does with his bike. Anders was poor too after some better performances lately, he seemed to bottle it a bit in a couple of his rides which is not like him at all.
  9. I’m out of the UK at the moment but the weather forecast for Leicester looks a bit iffy for this afternoon. If it’s on, the score might not be as one sided as some think.
  10. Penultimate meeting of a frustrating season at Shielfield. Bandits now have a four-pronged attack of really solid power, but just too late in the year. Never mind, a Saturday night at the skids is still a worthwhile outing, not least with the "Comics" in town. They bring former Bandits Jye Etheridge and Jacob Hook with them, but not Fraser Bowes (in Poland) who will be covered by Kye Thomson. Usual deals, usual e-ticket availability on website and (of course) a large free car-park. BERWICK: 1 Nick Morris, 2 Sam Hagon, 3 Jonas Jeppesen, 4 Drew Kemp (captain), 5 Peter Kildemand, 6 Dayle Wood, 7 Jack Smith WORKINGTON: 1 Troy Batchelor (captain), 2 Antti Vuolas, 3 Tate Zischke, 4 Jye Etheridge, 5 Kye Thomson (guest), 6 Jacob Hook, 7 Vinnie Foord
  11. Edwards scored 6 plus 1 when guesting for Nagel at Workington, maybe Nagel would have scored more who knows.
  12. That's what i'm getting at, plenty of people prepared to share a rumour but never the facts, figures and sources.
  13. In the absence of Nagel to date guests have failed to score what he would have. He has been very good at Ashfield. If he is missing then Poole are favourites for me.
  14. Or Waldorf and statler....on a serious note I think the Poole team may have done just enough to win over two legs, if Glasgow had kept it to 9-10 pts they may be favourites but its not over yet..........
  15. Well done getting the score LBW! You and Shovvy should meet up before every meeting for a flat white as it is working wonders for the Pirates! Shovvy and LBW the best Poole double act since Holder and Ward!
  16. Difficult call. Possibly Thompson & Flint below expectations but this certainly applied to Rowe and Kerr at Poole. Will be an interesting return leg, particularly if Nagel absent.
  17. I've heard through sources that Maksym Drabik has officially signed for Grudziądz for the 2026 season, this transfer will take place even if Rybnik stay in the Ekstraliga, he has no clause to remain at Rybnik.
  18. Should get at least 10 heats for a result 😁
  19. Can only see a walloping here but as its a thursday and i am in the wrong location for Sheffield v Ipswich - i might take the stream!
  20. It is dodgy 6pm start as you say darkness is creeping in by 8 ish, especially if it is a dull day weatherwise.
  21. Regarding the 6 pm start, just hope we have no major delays, as now it's starting to get dark around 8 pm , also as we have not had a Ben fund collection, maybe someone could confirm if this is going to happen on the nite. Whatever, hope the showers stay away, and the fans of both teams turn up for the last team meeting of the season. UTC 😄🏁🔵⚪
  22. Apologies Kev! I thought you meant with one league, not with still our GP riders in it.
  23. Sunday’s matches line-ups Lodz v Ostrow (39-51) - start time 12pm UK time Lodz 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 Ostrow 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Bydgoszcz v Krosno (49-41) - start time 2.15pm UK time Bydgoszcz 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 Krosno 1 Berge 2 Pollestad 3 Bjerre 4 Jamrog 5 Musielak 6 Swiercz 7 Wieszczak 8 Leszno v Rzeszow ( 43-44) - start time 4.30pm UK time Leszno 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 Rzsszow 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
  24. Sorry I won't be there this evening to say hello. Enjoy your day - but not too much 😁
