Think he was only just starting out really in 81. He's my GOAT though.
-
If the statement from Ipswich is accurate then if he doesn’t show more commitment at Oxford he may not ride at all.
-
The first meeting back will be the test. If he finds himself at the back could just poodle round and then stop. If he gates he will mix it for a bit but as soon as he is passed it will be the old looking down at the bike trick. He will be gone by the time England play at the World Cup.
-
why the impulse to sack him after just a few weeks? its a good move to bring in jake mulford as a guest. maybe PHB's performances have been hindered by some mental health struggles in the early part of the season and this break is giving him space to get his head right
-
Mayfield are also responsible for there being Speedway at Foxhall and you don't always know the ins and outs of what is going on behind the scenes The lad has only rode a handful meetings and looked quite stylish at home scoring 5+2 on his debut which was a reasonable return, 3+1 away at Lynn was poor but same meeting Kvech only scored 3+1 too, and Belle Vue away was disappointing 1+1 Still a young man finding his feet riding in the UK for the first time, he really needs some home meetings on a decent track to get his confidence up for the away trips as most circuits he'll have very limited time on, I think fans calling for him to be sacked so early need to reel it in a little bit

No rain here in Lynn yet.
-
I think that's fair tbh. He wanted to be out a few years ago, and could of walked away, but has stuck around, rather than walk, and shut Lynn down. Also helped with Northampton's track i believe, as well as loaning our air fence. Some P/B fans wont agree though. Blunt, stubbon... Yep i'll agree. Put a lot of money into speedway over the years, agree on that one too. Lynn ain't the best supported club, and i don't think Buster can afford the loses of a late rain off. I'd rather Lynn run as they are, than close the doors.

Does anyone know how Dan is?? -
So, is it raining yet and if so, heavy enough to justify the meeting being postponed?
- Today

Abs correct! Wrong use of the word. What a strong Top10 for the master to be 10th.
-
I won't mention a certain Danish riders name anymore as I've done that on several occasions. All I'll say is that if Ipswich miss out on the Play-Offs then this is all down to Mayfield, This situation has been Mayfield's first real test since the takeover and they've made a complete mess of the entire situation for a rider who should've been sacked weeks ago.
-
What do you mean, "what a rift"?? In the 70s of course we had weekly meetings, much better in my view as it kept fans engaged and enabled relationships to be built with your team.
-
The most embarrassing part being that he took nearly THREE laps to go from last to first in one race...
-
Given the Ipswich statement regarding Eddie’s lack of effort and enthusiasm and subsequent loss of his place in that team then I’m going to say no

Surely it benefitted Plymouth, Workington & Edinburgh most as they signed 8 pointers dropped by other clubs? -

Dayle Wood had a similar situation racing again Armadale, wearing the wrong helmet colour & I thought how did the team manager not notice that? Didn't return to the pits though. My understanding of the rule is riders can't return to the pits after a false start, but can if there's a crash. Obviously a time saving plan, but agree with others who have said, just use the 2 minutes allowance to keep meetings flowing. -
Is anyone else still waiting on-the star to be delivered , it had been on time lately Thursday/Friday …
-
My understanding of the rules are Riss could soon only be replaced by a 75% guest, so is Kennett better than a guest of 5.68 or below?
-
If it wasn’t for all the double downers from the Premier then these and other riders would be far more established in the sport instead of being sacked when off form. Alfie Bowtell is a prime example of the system - and under 30?

Lot of water to flow under the bridge for that to happen. Top 4 in Challenge to GP 2027 If any of those top 4 are in the top 7 of the GP standings then the next in line get in. Don’t think any of the GP boys will be pulling out of the Challenge this season as July is way before GP finishes ( 4 rounds to go).
