  2. And the name of the league itself. Development League!! Maybe Lambert and Kennett are slow burners!!
  3. No - otherwise a one day suspension would end before the following days matches. Therefore meaning a 1 day suspension would involve missing no possible meetings
  4. Yep after grabbing another scalp to his list of late , I think most riders don’t want to ride anywhere near him and his erratic moves especially his fellow country men
  5. My take was fine thanks. I've been to Ashfield regularly and while the racing is often better, your summary here is hyperbolic to say the least. I think many of us tire of being patronised about 'good racing' and what tracks should be like. There's a very Glaswegian trait of requiring validation and praise (Celtic fans being the worst) and i think we see a bit of it here from some Tigers fans with regards Ashfield.
  6. 100% imagine they want him back for the Play-Offs if they can make it happen and don't want anything jeopardising their inbvestment. (or certainly the way they see it as they pay the money).
  7. Well thanks for that, certainly not as oviform(egg shaped) as I was imagining but turns do appear tight. Bit hard to see true shape unless the drone could manage 2000+ft?
  8. Some riders will have to think hard about Poland next season. For example if Brennan doesn't get picked in the team at Bydgoszcz, he'd only have Premiership racing to keep him busy. I believe he'd get paid well to sit in the pits as the number 8/16 (if he's still young enough), but is that best for his career? Maybe more riders will chose the Polish 3rd tier, or pick SWE & DEN along with GB? Not an issue for the top riders, who'll know they are in the team each week.
  9. Self indulgent pish?? Your take on my post is wide of the intended mark. We are spoiled now at Ashfield, Stevie wonder can see that. He can also see that the racing at Armadale is chronic. Ashfield obviously was very poor at one point. No one really complained about that as everyone won here. The previous promotion started the ball rolling with the new track at huge expense in 2010. Massive risk was taken as the football club owned the ground at the time. What do you disagree with in my post? If I was the Edinburgh promotion I wouldn’t be sinking money into something that could be pulled from under my feet. Even when they had the bit of land at J3 earmarked the wanted to put a similar track in it to maintain home track advantage. it is also very obvious when Edinburgh are doing well as you travel through to the west in great numbers. When you aren’t, it’s is the regular good guys that trap.
  10. It’s a good job you don’t want the other three, as you’re on 30.54 without them. With them, you’re probably 4 points over the limit. Are you happy to carry three two-pointers?
  11. Was supposed to have been at Ipswich on the Thursday
  12. There isn't a home track advantage anymore but you are right in your 2nd point. The track WAS excellent, now you get the occasional good meeting. It's boring, in my opinion, more often than not. I doubt there will ever be a track reconstruction so it's what we have until the end. Does this mean there is no enjoyment from going to Armadale, no it doesn't. But perspective is needed. Is Glasgow incredible all the time? No. But the potential is there every time and its a superb track.
  13. Big off for Doyle in Poland by the looks of it
  14. Another throttle jockey track the Aces win at.
  15. This ref clearly looked directly at the sun last night for the eclipse because he can’t see anything tonight! Ellis literally creeped all the way to the moment the tapes lifted, and he won the race 🤦🏼
  16. I don't see why a experienced rider of Lambert's or Kennett's age and experience should ride in a National Development League. Surely it is meant to be for young up and coming riders hence the name Kings Lynn young stars!
  17. A brilliant night's speedway !! We now know that Bydgoszcz and Rybnik are in the play-offs. We also know that Pila, Ostrow and Krosno are in the play-downs. 3rd are Lodz 17 points finished 4th are Poznan 17 points- 1 match away to Pila 5th are Rzeszow 17 points - 1 match away to Bydgoszcz Poznan beat Pila 65-23 in 1st match Rzeszow lost to Bydgoszcz 37-53 it’s therefore odds on that Rzeszow will be in the play-downs and Lodz and Poznan will complete the play-off line-up.
