It could be the most average meeting you’ve ever seen, but a crowd and atmosphere like that just makes a world of difference doesn’t it. The gate receipts last night will have helped Louis no end and good on him. He could have built less expensive teams over the last few years and saved himself some cash but he’s used every bit of help from the sponsors to push the boat out and recruit the best team he could so he deserves that money spinner last night.

It's the standard month for this type of offence, missing a fixture. Time of year doesn't really matter, season had more than a month to run when imposed.

By Mr Bowes refusing to compete on the 27th of September he has breached SCB Regulation - 017.2 i) Failure to attend from a meeting duly listed on the official fixture list. Due to this breach of the Regulations, Mr Bowes SCB Registration will be suspended for a period of 28 days as from the 27th of September.
