If i lived nearby i'd be there if they're paying £25 especially if they throw in free parking. Presume it'll be in cash?

Thanks Iain. As I’ve said before I’m only trying to bring a humorous touch to the forum but also a positive response to threads also. -

Will a NL Fantasy Team for 2026 be going ahead?
-
Anyone know whether their track has been given the ok yet? And if so, have/will the riders be getting some practice in before the first home meeting?

It's funny how somebody who doesn't seem to have any malice to anybody and likes a bit of a laugh has their own topic thread denouncing them ... yet some of the more vile posters who seem to be able to post nothing other than abuse and it passes without comment... a sign of the toxic times we live in I suppose 🤷♂️ - Today

After seeing everyone in the KOCUP perform, I'm very confident that this prediction is in the right ball park. 1. SHEFFIELD (Head and shoulders above everyone imo, Will wipe the floor with everyone at Home to a point where it's going to impossible to beat them over two legs imo) 2. BELLE VUE (Simply due to the Kurtz and Bewley factor, Rest of the team isn't much cop and Cook isn't a HL away from the NSS but Kurtz and Bewley put up so many points to a point where they'll see the Aces into the Grand Final imo where Sheffield will take them to the cleaners) 3-5 are all of similar standard who should win at home but they won't offer much away. 3. LEICESTER (Out of Ipswich, King's Lynn and Leicester, I think the Lions are the team that's most capable of picking up a few wins on the road and that's why I've got them in 3rd place) 4. IPSWICH (Nicholls is the weak link but overall Ipswich's 1-7 is a stronger unit than King's Lynn's who've got a very weak tail and it's effecitvely going to be a 4 Man King's Lynn team most weeks imo and that's no good because Kvech, Harris and Cook are all inconsistent these days) 5. KING'S LYNN (Got a No.1 but it's irrelevant as proven last night at Foxhall when losing by 10 Points and having to use a Tactical Ride due to the tail end not scoring any points against an opponent until Heat 14 and that should be the story of King's Lynn's season away from the AFA imo) The wooden spoon. 6. NORTHAMPTON (No Home track advantage really and no chance of winning away from home with the side they've assembled imo)

Despite the slick track I thought the racing was ok, seen far worse than yet over the years. The stream was ok, it’s the first time so you have to allow for nerves as the lad presenting made a lot of mistakes, some down to lack of knowledge as he mentioned about Shane Parker when he was at Lynn but any long time fan knows Shane was first and foremost a Witch, and they did say they know improvements need to be made, they need better mics imo because the trackside ones couldn’t deal with the level of decibels very well. -

Kevin Long was there last night, working for Rerun Videos - I'm guessing he was doing interviews for the live stream? The "new" presenter is Stephen Foster, who has done it before when Long was unavailable. There was a big collective sigh when he was announced for 2026 - a great bloke, hugely experienced local radio presenter, but most definitely not a sports event announcer. At least Mike Western's fluent Swedish gave us the correct pronunciation of Hellstrom-Bangs - it really is an amazing language 🙂 -

Going to be a very tough meeting for the comets, who haven't had a meeting yet and haven't even had press and practice it will be the first time some of the riders will meet there team mates,so not a good start to the speedway season so far,Redcar look to have a real good side put together from 1 to 7 they will take some beating, this will be an easy win for Redcar they have had 3 meetings and comets have none,so ya can tell which way this is going to go,I just hope the comets get some good practice in ready for the league starting -

Wouldn't be surprised if Poole win, Zack Cook loves the ewr, Lawson and Kerr always score good points too. Looking foward to seeing Rushen, big future in the sport if he stays on the bike. I think it was always the plan that Scunny would make a change when Pickering's new average came in. With 1.66 points to use, a few will be riding to keep their team place. - Yesterday

Woeful. Kevin is a MASSIVE miss and every effort should be made to try and persuade him to return. -
There’s a time and a place. I’m not sure the potential demise of Oxford is the thread to be having ‘lots of fun’ on. It’s in pretty bad taste if you ask me.
