That’s mad, a rider who signed for you officially at the start of the season, mapped his whole season for you and sorted travelling out and equipment plus mechanics etc isn’t allowed to come back when fit, there should be a break clause in the deal allowing him to return when required in my opinion.

What happened to all the rakers who used to pull the dirt back after every heat.Most were volunteers who did it for the free admission and a sense of being involved,so it can't have been a cost cutting measure.

So should a rider be ill in future then they should cite a (much easier to fabricate) ‘family emergency’ - not suggesting for a minute this is what KH has done btw. This rule needs looked at.

TBF they weren’t entirely sure when Jenkins was going to return and they gave Edwards a 28 day deal. They’re not the sort to go back on that so Edwards (rightly IMO) will get the full 28 days.

Went to Sheffield last night to see the Shambolic performance from 4 of the Aces, who scored less combined than Flint (even if you use Dan's 3 points for the tac sub win in the tally). That said, thought it ended up being a decent meeting after the first 6 races, and track prep looked decent. I don't blame Mark for giving Tata time, but he has left it too long, we should have been looking at a double change before the deadline, with him and Blodorn who is also struggling of late. I still feel Norrick could turn it around in the playoffs, but our reserves are a sitting duck and will ultimately cost us in the semi final.

As long as we can hold onto them for next season.
