  1. Past hour
  2. Incredible effort and generosity from the good folk at Workington
  3. Doesn't change the fact that this situation is a mess, Like some others I've also heard he's not coming back at all. Mayfield and Paul Hurry have only backtracked on Kennett because he didn't show up for practice / training. With all due respect, How can you say give the lad a chance when Mayfield and Paul Hurry have already put out a prior statement saying Hellstrom-Bangs would basically get sacked if Kennett does half decent in a 28 Day period?
  4. All I’m saying about Kurtz is that British speedway is a fair way down his list of priorities and sometimes that clearly shows…. Whereas someone like Bewley or Doyle when he was here would give 110% everytime And yes I’m correct when I say Kurtz has to step up especially away while Bewley is out .. he can’t be getting 8 from 5 away from home If you look back on the GP threads i wanted Kurtz to be world champion so it’s not as some people think that I don’t like him ……. Just he can be flaky at times with his riding in the UK and not his fault but as a number one he needs 12 or 13 a meeting not 8
  5. Latest news is flash flooding at saddlebow road. A mass of wooden spoons have been floating out of the trophy room and police are asking the public to avoid the area due to sheer volumes of wooden spoons.
  6. agree completely - needs a bit of time - people seemed very enthused by his signing but because he hasn't scored massively they are now wanting him replaced after just a few meetings. The proposed solution seemed nonsensical to me and at least that has been reversed now.
  7. Got mine Thursday and lately most Thursdays in worky 😃
  8. Would you allow him to tell you where to live ? He’s been riding for years, so knows what’s best for him , and that’s his priority….HIM.
  9. Eddie 3.0.0 Kennett Thats laps for his last three clubs including Ipswich and Oxford.. I do hope he rides for Oxford and bags a few points.
  10. Lambert/Holder i would imagine would be top seven in the GPs and top four in the challenge so you're already down to places five/six in the challenge.
  11. A sprinkle about the same as Bald Bloke spilling a pint (heaven forbid) around now and then drier than a nuns fanny until nearly 10pm
  12. Think he was top of the averages in 1980 so 81 must have been a bad year for the 21 year old😁. He's my GOAT.
  13. If the statement from Ipswich is accurate then if he doesn’t show more commitment at Oxford he may not ride at all.
  14. The first meeting back will be the test. If he finds himself at the back could just poodle round and then stop. If he gates he will mix it for a bit but as soon as he is passed it will be the old looking down at the bike trick. He will be gone by the time England play at the World Cup.
  15. why the impulse to sack him after just a few weeks? its a good move to bring in jake mulford as a guest. maybe PHB's performances have been hindered by some mental health struggles in the early part of the season and this break is giving him space to get his head right
  16. Today
  17. Mayfield are also responsible for there being Speedway at Foxhall and you don't always know the ins and outs of what is going on behind the scenes The lad has only rode a handful meetings and looked quite stylish at home scoring 5+2 on his debut which was a reasonable return, 3+1 away at Lynn was poor but same meeting Kvech only scored 3+1 too, and Belle Vue away was disappointing 1+1 Still a young man finding his feet riding in the UK for the first time, he really needs some home meetings on a decent track to get his confidence up for the away trips as most circuits he'll have very limited time on, I think fans calling for him to be sacked so early need to reel it in a little bit
  18. I think that's fair tbh. He wanted to be out a few years ago, and could of walked away, but has stuck around, rather than walk, and shut Lynn down. Also helped with Northampton's track i believe, as well as loaning our air fence. Some P/B fans wont agree though. Blunt, stubbon... Yep i'll agree. Put a lot of money into speedway over the years, agree on that one too. Lynn ain't the best supported club, and i don't think Buster can afford the loses of a late rain off. I'd rather Lynn run as they are, than close the doors.
  19. So, is it raining yet and if so, heavy enough to justify the meeting being postponed?
  20. Yea right - one spread for both meetings LOL. my round 3 Friday night GP spread should be out tonight and then Saturday morning for round 4 Saturday’s GP.
  21. Both Belle Vue Meetings or just the 1 R&R? I'm going so will try and remember. 😆
  22. Abs correct! Wrong use of the word. What a strong Top10 for the master to be 10th.
  23. I won't mention a certain Danish riders name anymore as I've done that on several occasions. All I'll say is that if Ipswich miss out on the Play-Offs then this is all down to Mayfield, This situation has been Mayfield's first real test since the takeover and they've made a complete mess of the entire situation for a rider who should've been sacked weeks ago.
