  1. Past hour
  2. An expected outcome - well done to the Lions - really rooting for TomB to start scoring what we know he is capable off.
  3. I don't think a little bit of fan interaction and some effort on P&P day and parade trucks etc is too much to ask but he never seems prepared to do that. Who are you referring to as prima donnas?
  4. Why the negativity on Lawson? He’s increased his average by over half a point for Ipswich and so what if, unlike too many of the younger prima donnas, knows speedway doesn’t owe him a living so has additional employment that not only augments his speedway earnings but will give him income beyond retirement?
  5. Today
  6. 26.07.2026: Krajowa Liga, Daugavpils v Świętochłowice: https://youtu.be/eIh_R_kpI-c?is=Rzojv2GbnQ_e8nDs
  7. The Ipswich promotion certainly sees this, the question is can they take the rest in the same direction. I really believe that if Coleman can’t make the changes required then the sport is doomed this is very much last chance saloon.
  8. Read the "Years Ago" section in the Speedway Star each week... All the issues we have today are often mentioned by some promoter or other, particularly in the ten and twenty years ago sections of it... As the GP and Poland landscape changed... Yet, absolute nothing was done... Hence, here we are, at an inevitable conclusion... Does anybody really feel that the completely needed radical change, that is well over due, will ever be delivered?...
  9. The old “ we didn’t know Latvia is 2 hours ahead of GB has struck again “ Every year the TV companies get in a tis-was !! Friday’s 2nd Semi in Riga is indeed on HBO Max. The meeting starts at 5 pm UK time(7pm in Riga) and HBO are coming on air at 5.40pm !!! Instead of 4.40pm. Hopefully they will realise before next Friday !!
  10. Every year there are the same comments about things have to take a drastic change next year for the sport to survive in the UK and it never happens. They just bury the heads in the sand and maintain that a two tier league set up is the only way to go. Look at the lengths they went to in order to get Northampton in this season. One league, reduce numbers of rider per team and come up with a new heat format. At least give a try. Two leagues with doubling up and the same teams in town all the time with riders missing isn't working and its clear as day to see.
  11. Yesterday
  12. What time start is the meeting with Kent Eagles. Also, it says 2nd leg, when will the first leg take place.
  13. I also got a notification that the old forum had crashed and would not be returning, and a link was attached to the new forum. I signed up and after several days this one returned. I now look at both to see if i have missed anything.
  14. Congratulations to Leicester and it would be nice to see someone else win the league for a change. More importantly the powers that be need to find a way of saving this sport, and soon.
  15. I am afraid that the council are spineless. Why have they just stood back and looked at a Stadium being illegally destroyed, and watched buildings being constructed without planning permission. They should of gone and locked the gates and put up a barrier to prevent entry, until a resolution has been agreed. I imagine the Council will just relent in the end to save a further long drawn out battle.
  16. I don't think he'd score any more if he was at reserve.
  17. Thank gawd for Tobias otherwise it would have been even more boring, im getting totally cheesed off with just about every track thinking that you don't need to water a track once heat one has finished. Once again another meeting where those who bother to attend go home covered in dust, im just glad this is a streaming service and not on cable tv because it would not generate more support, exactly the opposite. All too often racing is processional with dust flying everywhere, that will have new fans coming in there droves NOT
  18. I quite like the idea of using a guest from a lower league to cover a reserve. What if your number 5 is missing lol!
  19. Totally agree. Paul Hurry and the Ipswich Management should be doing more. Saying he's got their full support is nowhere near enough. Need to do more.
  20. “Tom is struggling at number one and when he is struggling and sole searching it’s hard and you end up as 7 individuals not a team, and once that happens it’s not a good atmosphere and the fun goes”
  21. Congratulations to Leicester! Simply put… the best team won! All the best and I hope you do the double, we won’t make the playoff final so I wish you all the best!
  22. All ifs buts and maybes but Brennan scored 7 over 2 legs from 8 rides … even if he had scored 8 at home and 5 away we would have won … Well done Leicester a likeable team with a top manager Didn’t Scotts interview tell a tale!!
