A truly baffling decision... Team GB should be the best five riders the nation has... No disrespect but the young lad isn't anywhere near that level, even if you don't include Woffy... Maybe the many more experienced, (and better), GB riders turned down the meeting?....

What will 2026 UK speedway bring?

Difficult isn't it? The only real one on the list is number 2 and that leads me to the question as to why the rest of them can't do the same. I can't count 1 because Lambert has very little to do with the promotion of British League Speedway. -

Yes. It is so simple. And it works everytime.

Jamie was clearly out of his depth, Max is not out of his depth and he should improve as the season progresses.

In my experience, on many social media websites, the "Happy Clappers" are often those within the "bubble" of whatever the business, or entity that the Social Media account is discussing.. Maybe doing some volunteering, or are related to someone running the enterprise... And, quite often, not having to pay out any money to use the business they defend... I've said before. When I ran Supermarkets in towns and cities across the country, getting on the towns social media was "Gold" given the brutal nature of the feedback given by those who would never speak the same to your face... Getting told your crap, publicly, isn't the greatest feeling in the world, however, when they tell you why you were crap, and, even better, give you potential answers to resolve the issue, then, just by listening to, and engaging with, your customers, you cannot fail... Getting told your great by "Happy Clappers" around you, clearly has no merit, or use, at all... Any business desperately needs, for growth, people to tell them what they don't want to hear... -
Maybe Dan T has requested not to be available but we will probably not find out anything official

You did agree that the sport was in a "tad of a mess at the moment"... Fair play... You are obviously someone very calming to have around in a crisis... Lets hope today goes well for Northampton and a great new dawn appears from tomorrow for the sport, with new modern thinking people entering into the sport, bringing it into the 21st Century, thus launching a huge national marketing campaign which engages those hundreds of thousands of latent, and potentially new fans, living within an hour of a track, to attend.. See. I can do it.... -
As others have said, I don't understand the choice of reserve at all. If things don't go to plan (bike issues, injuries etc) and we have to use our reserve the whole thing may end up being a disaster. Surely having someone like Harris, Lawson, Thompson or Edwards on standby would be a far better proposition. If we don't qualify for the final in August (and I've just bought tickets by the way), then heads will surely roll.

But what is there to be positive about? Can you give me 5 genuine things to be positive about in British Speedway? I can’t think of anything. I don’t count the Northampton venture because too many clubs have been lost. -

Those running the sport love a happy clapper but need to be more attentive to what Mike and those like him are saying It's not negativity it is realism - they have abused 50 years plus of positivity from Mike and those of us like him and don't deserve anymore -
Makes sense why Flint is in the team but not Cairns? Should never have been a Flint or Dan T discussion when Cairns was in the team.
-
In this instance putting Lambert or Bewley at reserve wouldn't make any sense, all they'd be doing is replacing Cairns in all his rides - no advantage, the team could then be stuck if another rider got injured. If Dan T & Flint were promised 2 rides each, then you could have a stronger reserve to pick the best heats to benefit the team? Maybe that's why Dan preferred getting 2 matches for Edinburgh if he wasn't guaranteed 5 rides in the SWC qualifier?
