  1. Past hour
  2. I’m out of the UK at the moment but the weather forecast for Leicester looks a bit iffy for this afternoon. If it’s on, the score might not be as one sided as some think.
  3. Penultimate meeting of a frustrating season at Shielfield. Bandits now have a four-pronged attack of really solid power, but just too late in the year. Never mind, a Saturday night at the skids is still a worthwhile outing, not least with the "Comics" in town. They bring former Bandits Jye Etheridge and Jacob Hook with them, but not Fraser Bowes (in Poland) who will be covered by Kye Thomson. Usual deals, usual e-ticket availability on website and (of course) a large free car-park. BERWICK: 1 Nick Morris, 2 Sam Hagon, 3 Jonas Jeppesen, 4 Drew Kemp (captain), 5 Peter Kildemand, 6 Dayle Wood, 7 Jack Smith WORKINGTON: 1 Troy Batchelor (captain), 2 Antti Vuolas, 3 Tate Zischke, 4 Jye Etheridge, 5 Kye Thomson (guest), 6 Jacob Hook, 7 Vinnie Foord
  4. Edwards scored 6 plus 1 when guesting for Nagel at Workington, maybe Nagel would have scored more who knows.
  5. That's what i'm getting at, plenty of people prepared to share a rumour but never the facts, figures and sources.
  6. In the absence of Nagel to date guests have failed to score what he would have. He has been very good at Ashfield. If he is missing then Poole are favourites for me.
  7. Or Waldorf and statler....on a serious note I think the Poole team may have done just enough to win over two legs, if Glasgow had kept it to 9-10 pts they may be favourites but its not over yet..........
  8. Today
  9. Well done getting the score LBW! You and Shovvy should meet up before every meeting for a flat white as it is working wonders for the Pirates! Shovvy and LBW the best Poole double act since Holder and Ward!
  10. Difficult call. Possibly Thompson & Flint below expectations but this certainly applied to Rowe and Kerr at Poole. Will be an interesting return leg, particularly if Nagel absent.
  11. I've heard through sources that Maksym Drabik has officially signed for Grudziądz for the 2026 season, this transfer will take place even if Rybnik stay in the Ekstraliga, he has no clause to remain at Rybnik.
  12. Should get at least 10 heats for a result 😁
  13. Can only see a walloping here but as its a thursday and i am in the wrong location for Sheffield v Ipswich - i might take the stream!
  14. It is dodgy 6pm start as you say darkness is creeping in by 8 ish, especially if it is a dull day weatherwise.
  15. Regarding the 6 pm start, just hope we have no major delays, as now it's starting to get dark around 8 pm , also as we have not had a Ben fund collection, maybe someone could confirm if this is going to happen on the nite. Whatever, hope the showers stay away, and the fans of both teams turn up for the last team meeting of the season. UTC 😄🏁🔵⚪
  16. Apologies Kev! I thought you meant with one league, not with still our GP riders in it.
  17. Sunday’s matches line-ups Lodz v Ostrow (39-51) - start time 12pm UK time Lodz 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 Ostrow 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Bydgoszcz v Krosno (49-41) - start time 2.15pm UK time Bydgoszcz 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 Krosno 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Leszno v Rzeszow ( 43-44) - start time 4.30pm UK time Leszno 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 Rzsszow 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
  18. Sorry I won't be there this evening to say hello. Enjoy your day - but not too much 😁
  19. Back to the 6 pm start this weekend but on a Sunday evening when the Comets take on the Berwick Bandits for our last home League fixture of the season, where did that year go!! This meeting sees a return of former Workington favourite Peter Kildemand who will feel at home on the wide open spaces of the Northside track. Berwick will be no push overs and pose a real threat with a strong top five and two reserves in Dayle Wood and Jack Smith who have ridden the Workington track a few times in the past. Hopefully this weeks rain will not have too much affect on the track and Berwick bring lots of fans over , this really makes a difference to the atmosphere and brings in much needed revenue.
  20. Sunday’s match Gorzow v Czestochowa - start time 6.30pm UK time Gorzow 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 Czestochowa 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
  21. Everything that "Giveusab" says is nonsense.
  22. It’s the number of important meetings that will frustrate Tigets fans. It will be a tough ask for them if he does miss 2nd leg.It is a tough ask anyway but doable if he is there.
  23. Sunday’s NON TV matches Gdansk v Daugavpils Gdansk 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 Daugavpils 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Pila v Gniezno Pila 9 Seifert-Salk 10 Kosciuch 11 Jasinski 12 Nagel 13 Cyfer 14 Witkowski 15 16 Gniezno 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
  24. Programme- all meetings start 6pm UK time Semi-final 1 Tuesday 30th September Semi-final 2 Wednesday 1st October SON 2 Friday 3rd October SON final Saturday 4th October
  25. Thought Ipswich would have Emil at 5 as he is usually a force round Owlerton, but obviously gives them a strong middle order. Adam Ellis on paper is a loss for riding at Sheffield but he hasn’t scored big since he left the club, Dan Thompson could be a busy man he always wins a few races. Sheffield will be feeling it after a battering at BV, escaped with the bonus point somehow. Picko and Chris Holder need to find an extra gear going into play offs if we are going to win them. The rest of the team have been performing as you’d expect, Jack Holder been on fire of late looking forward to seeing him against Doyle and Emil. 50-40 home win
