Only throttle jockeys with little skill refer to Ipswich as that. -
"Speed" was no issue that night đ¤

11 October 2022 - Ritchie Worrall ht 15 at Plymouth .. but it was almost certainly a timekeeper error! -
Yes and you can discount Musielak performance last year as not a true reflection of his ability at Ipswich.Ouch calls other posters trolls when he doesn't like their answer!!
-
This is a cold hard fact though from the horses mouth. Why would we want him at Ipswich, âIpswich is a S hole, I hate going there like everyone else but we have toâ - Lidsey
-
All that tells me is that Lidsey is getting worse around Foxhole while the others are improving.
-
Sounds like the timekeeper was in a rush to get away to me đ¤

On for the quadruple then this year!

As far as I know, Spedeworth doesn't own the Stadium - they lease it from the owners of the Heath, and sub-let to the speedway.
-
Deane Woods Spedeworth owns the Stadium does he not? Lets think outside the box then. He just does a deal with BSPL to lease the Stadium to the BSPL/ Speedway Futures , not a specific Promoter , the BSPL stick a tried and tested and trusted promotional Team in there to run it on behalf of BSPL. May be linked to Speedway Futures? who pick up the Financial accountability. Is this a model for the future (excuse the pun) to grow the Sport. Speedway Futures become almost like a "Speedway Administrator" picking up Tracks in Financial Difficulty - taking on financial responsibility and putting in registered and regulated Promoters to manage day to day on a set salary. Instead of milking the Promotions for fees and bonds and everything else the BSPL / Speedway Futures becomes the financial funding point. In which case - they send two accomplished fire-fighters in to secure the future. Van Stratten and Adams would be the most logical pairing (at least for 12 months) given the small number of Fixtures.

Is Mayfield eyeing Foxhall as a potential venue for the Speedway Grand Prix in future years?

Itâs not tolley

Mayfield sports or tolley ??đ

Weren't the Polish press recently trying to spread stories around that Richard Coleman (Mayfield Sports Events) was spreading himself too thinly? Weren't they suggesting he couldn't possibly run the 2026 SGP series as he was obliged to be at the MotoGP events at the same time? They must think it strange if someone who is already badly overstretched would be wanting to run a British Speedway team...

Using the excellent speedway-stats website, here are the last three years at Foxhall Jaimon 2023 6.13 2024 5.78 2025 5.33 17.24 Musielak 2025 3.64 2023 8.73 2022 5.00 17.37 Becker 2025 7.56 2024 5.78 2023 5.00 18.34 Itâs interesting how cold hard stats without any petty bias (or trolling) tell a more factually correct story. Opinions are fine but please donât present them as fact without even checking.

Here's one for you all. On 07/07/1975, Birmingham staged an inter league 4TT which featured the Brummies, Newport, Ipswich and Swindon. After the main event, a second half was held. In the last heat of the night, the rider of the night final, Swindon's Martin Ashby broke the Perry Barr track record of 62.4 seconds which had been held by home skipper George Major for 2 and a half years. Can anyone out there recall if this has happened before or since this meeting at Perry Barr as it's highly unusual for a few reasons?
-
If true, maybe a SGP rider or wannabe SGP rider or 2 looking to keep SGP bosses onside?
-
If itâs Mayfield then that will put a rocket up the BSPL!
-
Yeah... another 12 home meeting season beckons... of which, with committments, i'll be lucky if I see half of em. Does make you ponder.
-
You wouldnt, the comment was aimed at a Belle Vue fan.
-
Looking to be another uninspiring team, apart from Pickering . He is sure to get 5 rides per meeting and plenty of Tactical rides too!

If itâs true about the new owners at Ipswich then hopefully it might work out. British speedway is in even more of a mess than when BSI got involved at Reading. British speedway needs this to work.
