  1. Past hour
  2. I did say I'd have both of them. Just pointing out it's more Barker's away form that is a concern rather than Joe T's
  3. Jake Allen at Poole? Really? Nothing against him personally but not had the best of times at Poole recently. Although everyone always says Poole is difficult to come to as an away rider, even Darcy said that when he was with Swindon. Happy to have Kerr back and glad to see him do well now especially as I had to defend him to SS and FB for doubting him! There was one Poole fan on X who used to moan about him non stop and during his rants found out it was because he just didn't like him (fair enough as impossible to like everybody!) But also because apparently he 'didn't care' which I think we can call out as complete BS. If he didn't care why would be hiding for first half of the superheat because too worried to watch or whatever.
  4. Question re Anders Rowe. Was he carrying an injury for a portion of the second half of 2025. Saw various comments on the forum that he may have had a leg or groin injury that was affecting his performances in some meetings. Even saw comment/s that he had to be helped on/off his bike in one meeting due to pain/discomfort. Could that have affected some of his consistency/scoring. I also read on the forum re a food poisoning situation in a recent meeting meaning he had to drop out of his last scheduled ride. it's the injury that intrigues me. Is it still ongoing and if so is he hoping to get it sorted close season if it is.
  5. A bit of a random one would be. Law/Rowe/Cook (or Kerr if Cook drops Champ)/Morris on his bargain 6.86/Cairns/Rushen/Ritchings (very exposed bottom end though but a great top 4.
  6. True, but Poole could do the same with a track that is prepared to provide more entertaining racing. Poole as a club builds teams with a winning mindset. They could still do the same
  7. If rumours are true that only 1 rider with over an 8 average per team then Jeppesen wouldn't fit unless you dropped Richard, which is highly unlikely
  8. Ok I will reword it for you, she has been in a relationship with them, is that better for you? Adrian miedzinski being the last speedway rider but I believe she married someone else now
  9. Henka was a bit too fond of a beer to be World Champion. Still the most exciting rider I've ever seen or ever likely to see though, those three seasons he had at Lynn were incredible.
  10. What's at stake for Poole is giving their fans what they want and keep coming back every week. Also having a team that wins means more publicity on local and regional media - tv, radio, newspapers and online, which in turn can lead to greater sponsorship and attendance. All leading to greater financial stability especially as there are longer term doubts about Poole stadium. If or when that happens GB speedway will be even more worse off, despite all the Poole haters.
  11. Wouldn't Tai get 8% discount taking him to 7.97?
  12. According to the latest GSA on speedway GB site Ipswich only have 1. Doyle is a 7.91 Only emil over an 8.00 Leicester do with fricke and Douglas
  13. By the same logic where do you think the crowds are going to appear from for speedway in General .
  14. It always amazes me that British Speedway makes no attempt, seemingly, to try to attract or appeal to a younger and / or more affluent fan base. Baffling
  15. Both Ipswich and Leicester have 2 over 8.00.So would Sheffield if Tai returns.
  16. Today
  17. Injured early in 2024 and hasn't ridden since.
  18. They are still talking about when/where to have it, trying to decide whether it's sunshine in tenerife or somewhere else like morecambe 🙃
  19. Given Plymouth is a small track it could be worth trying to get the young yank Slater Lightcap over or Dillon Ruml whatever happened to him looked to be making great progress at Oxford then nothing I haven't even seen him racing in the USA be a shame if he has retired as I think with time he could have developed into a useful rider in the UK.
  20. Wrong again, mark Phillips is not barker's uncle.
  21. If Zach does decide to drop the championship. Maybe we could temp Jonas Jeppersen to Dorset? Good guesting for us against Glasgow. Would leave little over 5 points left to get the last rider should ride in the 4 position. or beef up the 3 and 4 position with Kerr and then Edwards or Allen? lots of options if Zach isn’t returning, hopefully he does. I struggle to see us keeping Zach and Kerr with the other 4 riders who are very much expected unless it’s Ritchings at reserve and Cairns at 2
  22. Agreed but Beau Bailey does look the real deal and one hell of a racer, Cooper another racer reminds me a bit of Kelly Moran and should have a massive future, don't know much about Cairns but again seems highly rated, if you ended up with them three and the Fords could tempt someone like Bastian Pederson over also and give them a track you could really race on you would get 2-3k in per week. When I was young and used to attend Speedway at Lynn we got stuffed most weeks but Loram and Henka were starting out and just witnessing those two pull off incredible moves was worth the defeats as they were so great and exciting. I always thought Henka was a more natural talent than T.Rick but ultimately Tony had that extra 5% grit that separated great riders from Speedway legends.
  23. Would think Poole would like him to stay.He was the go -to man when a big race was required last season (Lawson accepted).Still improving and stylish. His performance was the difference in Pirates winning the League IMO.
