This does seem to happen far more than back in the day when riders were loyal to their teams it was their club, and there was a real rivalry riders we,rnt seen stood in the opposite side of the pits chinwagging with rivals, there was far more altercations between them that created real atmospheres but they were not rivals one night and team mates the next. No wonder we dont see the characters of yesteryear.

No brainer really, it's sad for Jordan but he needs to heal properly.
-
I can't see there being a TV contract with 6 teams and especially not 5 and it's questionable if there will be one with 7 as the TV companies haven't been queuing up to cover Speedway over the last few years.

Poole vs Glasgow KOC SF 1st leg 27/08/25

I think he is trying to say it was prepared differently to suit the home team, there certainly didn't seem much dirt on it. Harris usually loves our track whatever the conditions. -
Redcar Vs Scunthorpe 22/8/25

Neither of my 2 emails asking the SCB to tell me which specific rule was broken that resulted in Workington being docked 2 league points were replied to and yes I did send them to the right email address. -
My gut reaction to 2026 is that it will still be a 3 tier structure. Specifically Chris Louis will cling on to the TV Money and GP stars like King Canute trying to stop the rising tide, he'll be supported by KIngs Lynn / Belle Vue and Sheffield, and enough pressure will be put on Leicester to remain in a "top tier" and if they have to, they'll go 5 team League with even more of the TV slice. I can't see Glasgow playing that silly game, the Facenna brothers have a clear goal and aim in terms of the GP / GP2 / International Fixture status of their venue and like Poole, frankly don't want nor need to play silly buggars with the egotists. I suspect Oxford will run Championship as their main team with the existing teams remaining in that leagu and no one going up nor down. Belle Vue / Edinburgh / Leicester / Redcar / Oxford / Kings Lynn / Plymouth and the standalone Kent Eagles will form a competitive NDL League if enough Riders can be found to service 8 Teams. I suspect that would be the max number for 1 league and don't think Scunthorpe / Sheffield will be back (If Workington / Mildenhall or any other side wanted to play NDL level, a geographical split may be x 2 x 5 yeam leagues with a top 2 in each playing off?) Hardly ideal but I think prizing the TV Money and GP stars away from those PL Clubs will only happen when there are 4 or less left to continue the folly!

sounds like no organisation in this organisation -
I’ve been quite disappointed with Kvech this year, thought he would kick on massively and at least average 7.5. If he has a proper No. 1 ahead of him then yes, keep him. Keep Cook if there’s a way he can be No. 2 or No. 4. Although I fear with his lowered average he’ll be back at BV. Klindt is guaranteed because he has a testimonial at Lynn next year. I think they’ll start the season with Harrison and then when Cooper Rushen turns 16 he’ll be the Rising Star. IMO the team only needs 2 changes - an out-and-out No. 1 and then a weaker reserve than we’ve had this year. (Following team is based on current averages): 1. 8.0 rider - Lambert? (7.8) Or someone else 2. N Klindt - 6.46 3. C Harris - 6.82 (6.65) 4. R Lawson - 6.8 (6.63) 5. J Kvech - 6.82 6. A Rowe - 5.55 (5.41) 7. L Harrison / C Rushen - RS Team total - 40.45 (39.77)

Well he is 7th up to now in the current GP series which is probably his best but he looks practically unbeatable at Leicester, he is definitely one of very few who seem to be able to make a genuine pass there on a regular basis -
Did any Brummies riders even average 6 this season?
- Today
-
Summed up very nicely and the downfall of the brummie dream. Rogers has done nothing for Speedway other than don a foreign team manager hat at and given opportunity, obviously they were scraping the barrel.
-
Tolley is fine....he's just clueless but has money to burn....Rogers is the problem...clueless and doesn't put any money in...but he will expect you to stroke his over inflated ego and compliment him on all his hard work behind the scenes, whilst he plays Roy of the Rovers with the NDL set-up!

In a surprise move the Poles have done a deal with WBD that this final GP of the season will be shown live on TVP Sport. Previously non-Polish staged GP’s have only been available to watch on Max/ Eurosport player. WBD could easily have shown it on Polish Eurosport so i suspect that it’s all about money- they were made an offer they couldn’t refuse !!

More like 6.

In the UK I’d agree. Not at international level, just bang average. Certainly riding for Leicester has helped him progress in the UK. -
I’ve no idea as could only see a small section of inside the stadium from the fence outside the car park. I’ve no idea what the capacity is but I’m someone said 1500. I’m assuming then that numbers were being accurately monitored via bookings and sales to know that capacity was reached? Friends inside said that there was room to move about. obviously it explains a little more why people were turned away. I just hope ticket sales confirmed the capacity limit because it’s one last chance for Tolley and Co to make maximum amount of return which he absolutely deserves.
-
A pity most of the riders didn't follow suit!
-
Yes his average has gone up every year hes ridden in the UK. Though I feel in the GP hes not really progressed.

Actually it’s not rare, the rider circle is a very close community, yes there is the exceptions but on the whole they do respect each other and on the whole are all mates, you always want to beat each other especially your own fellow countrymen but it’s just racing, away from the track you find some even socialise together or train together and airports tend to be a bit of a gathering place for the international riders, at the end of the day they all share the same mechanics, tuners, flight organisers, sponsors and ultimately are all in the same game so yes respect is definitely there, I always respected everyone I was on a track with even the ones I didn’t like and it’s pretty much the same for all riders
